Industry Season 1 Episode 5 brings life to the intertwining storylines, which are a significant aspect of the series. From the complexity in Yasmin’s relationship with Seb to Harper and Daria’s intense situation, this episode is truly packed with everything a viewer needs to get hooked.
From the beginning of this series to the very end, each and every aspect of this series is worth investing your time in. It is fresh, and along with its high stakes, Industry is a must-watch.

Yasmin outshines Kenny and Harper’s dilemma in Industry Season 1 Episode 5
The fifth episode of Industry Season 1 starts with Yasmin and Seb’s complex situation. Their relationship is taking a turn as Seb gets infuriated with Yasmin’s inability to keep a plant alive. He gets angry at her and lashes out. This causes Yasmin to rethink the situation and his behavior. Yasmin also discusses this situation with Harper.
However, Harper asks her about Robert, indicating that she is aware of the situation. Yasmin denies having any relationship with him. She then asks Harper about Todd, to which Harper replies that she is ghosting him. As the episode of Industry progresses, Harper is called by Eric to inform her that he is going to be off-site.
He then tells her to sit down with Felim, indicating that he knows that Felim’s new coverage has him on the wrong side of the Italy issue. He pressures Harper to do the task and tells her to not let him down with the situation. On the other hand, Yasmin meets with Maxim.
She pitches Pierpoint to him. Robert’s business trip with Clement is taking a positive direction as they are able to keep their clients happy. While Hilary bashes Kenny for not being able to bring any new accounts since he became the VP. Right then, Yasmin jumps in to inform Hilary that she has an in with Silver Kite, which gains her the appreciation of Hilary.
As this episode of Industry progresses, Gus gets a call regarding Eric, which he takes. Harper tries to take the call; however, Daria tells her that as they are a team, they can take each other’s calls. Daria then asks Harper about Eric, but she does not tell her the truth.
Harper then contacts Felim; however, the person on the other end tells her that they have been informed not to take calls from Pierpoint. She then decides to send Felim a message with “Cold Milk?” thinking it might help her get his attention. Using Instagram to find out more about Luke, she decides to crash the party to achieve her goal.
Yasmin and Seb’s relationship takes yet another complex turn after Seb hears Yasmin cheating on him through the Bluetooth speaker, which gets connected to her phone. Harper goes to Luke’s party to ask him to get an appointment with Felim. Luke finally accepts the offer and sets a meeting with Felim. During the meeting with Felim, Harper tells Felim that Daria could not make it. Right as Harper was about to persuade Felim, Daria walks in.
However, Felim leaves without discussing any further. He then tells Daria and Harper to discuss the reason he left Pierpoint. Daria is not happy with how the situation turned out.
She warns him about Eric and asks her to choose. At Pierpoint, Eric returns from his trip and gets angry at Gus for getting involved with a grad executing with his clients. Harper then tells Eric that Felim is not coming back, which makes him angrier. She also tells him that Daria was at the meeting, which might have caused Felim to refuse.
This episode of Industry ends with Yasmin going to the restaurant that Kenny booked to meet with Maxim. Hw apololgizes for his previous behaviour, and the meeting starts.
However, things take a turn after Kenny begins to get annoyed at the way Maxim speaks with Yasmin. This episode of Industry sheds light on the actions of the characters, along with the reasons they behave in that manner.
