Industry Season 4 will premiere on HBO on January 11, 2026. HBO's epic financial thriller series, which debuted in 2020, will finally return with a new season.

The network dropped a gripping new teaser for the upcoming season, driven entirely by Nina Simone’s haunting rendition of “Lilac Wine” and barely a word of dialogue. The clip reintroduces us to the gritty world of the young graduates at Pierpoint & Co., who are about to embark on the next chapter of their lives. The new season will shift the narrative to a payment processing startup, Tender, led by its enigmatic CFO, Whitney Halberstram.

After Yasmin and Harper's shocking decision to leave Pierpoint in the Season 3 finale, Industry Season 4 will feature a new direction for their characters in a new financial setting.

What is the plot for Industry Season 4?

The official synopsis for Season 4 of Industry reads as follows:

“At the top of their game and living the lives they set out to have as Pierpoint grads, Harper and Yasmin are drawn into a high stakes, globetrotting cat-and-mouse game when a splashy fintech darling bursts onto the London scene.''
''As Yasmin navigates her relationship with tech founder Sir Henry Muck and Harper is pulled into the orbit of enigmatic executive Whitney Halberstram, their twisted friendship begins to warp and ignite under the pressure of money, power, and the desire to be on top.”

While three seasons of the drama series revolved around the cut-throat world of Pierpoint & Co., the fictional and prestigious investment bank in London, the upcoming season is shifting gears and relocating the story to a 'splashy fintech darling' company, Tender. After Harper's shocking departure from Pierpoint, she will explore her newfound power when she crosses paths with Tender's CFO and co-founder, Whitney Halberstram.

However, Whitney has his eyes set on Lumi Startup's CEO, Sir Henry Muck, who got engaged to Yasmin in the Season 3 finale.

Harper and Yasmin's respective relationships with Whitney and Sir Henry will put a strain on their friendship. The show will explore the themes of power, money, love and sex against a new financial backdrop.
