Amy is constantly making headlines for her controversial life and even controversial relationship with Bryan on 1000-Lb. Sisters. The most recent episode on TLC showed the two getting engaged.

It was when they decided to take a trip to a haunted house, and Tammy and her friends were with them.

In one of the rooms of the property on 1000-Lb. Sisters, Brian kneeled and proposed to Amy. She, of course, said yes, but Tammy had her doubts. Given the charges against her sister, she is concerned for her well-being, and even Amanda and Chris are concerned.

They had tried to bring this to Amy's attention last episode, but she thought of it as an intervention and got upset and left.

Now that she and Brian are engaged, the two are hoping for a haunted house-themed wedding, given the fact that he proposed at a haunted house. However, fans are questioning their choices, expressing their opinions against the whole deal on X. One 1000-Lb. Sister's fan wrote:

"Amy wants to get married in an INSANE ASYLUM."
"We 37 seconds in and Amy’s already crying," wrote a fan with a GIF.
"“That was fuc%^ing ridiculous” I never agree with Tammy, but when someone’s right, they’re right. Amy needs to get some therapy and focus on her boys," expressed another fan.
"Love bombing Brian needs to slow the train down before it derails horrifically. Amy can't be putting her children's best interest first by rushing this relationship. Something about Brian is off putting and she is too blind to see it," read a comment on Reddit.
"The really funny part is that Brian proposed in a pop up haunted house in some run down strip mall. A temporary space… So say, if they do get married and stay involved for some time… they’ll NEVER be able to go back and say “Oh this spot is where he proposed to me!”. In a couple months that haunted house could be a damn Dollar General," said another fan on their engagement.

"This is disturbing AF. He’s high as a kite, and she’s a 30 something year old toddler. They both have charges for not only weed, but shrooms, and her for child neglect, and he thinks it’s wise propose on camera. No way she didn’t know either, with the matching shirts they wore," wrote a fan expressing their concern.

1000-Lb. Sisters Star Amy and Brian plan a haunted house wedding

After their engagement inside the haunted house on 1000-Lb. Sisters, as the group comes out and has a seat, Tammy expresses her opinion, saying that Amy and Brian need to slow down, and they are moving too fast. Misty, who was with her, also echoed the sentiment.

However, Amy, in her confessional, justified her choice of marrying Brian even though it is very early by saying that there are people out there who are getting into arranged marriages and have never met their spouses until the day of the wedding.

Soon, the two decided to talk about their plans for the wedding, and Brian suggested that they need to have their nuptials at a haunted location.

To this, Amy replies that she actually needs a real ghost at the wedding. As for Tammy, she just sat there quietly being shocked at the conversation that her ears were hearing.

At the end of 1000-Lb. Sisters, Amy gets emotional as she and Brian start walking away towards their car to head home. She felt as if her sister was not supportive enough of her decision and was questioning her every step.
