Into the Void: Life, Death & Heavy Metal, an eight-part docuseries about legendary heavy metal artists, is set to premiere on Hulu on September 22, 2025. The series will feature some of the most prominent names from the music industry, including Pantera’s Rex Brown and Phil Anselmo, Nikan Khosravi, Lamb of God’s Randall Blythe, Sharon Osbourne, and more.

Hulu recently dropped the trailer for the series, which is executive-produced by Jason Eisener and Evan Husney, known for Vice TV’s Dark Side of the Ring. The eight episodes will focus on the heavy metal scene, providing an emotional behind-the-scenes look at the process of making music and the challenges involved. The series will feature never-before-seen archival footage and personal testimonials.

Into the Void: Life, Death & Heavy Metal Season 1 will premiere on September 22, 2025, on Hulu and Hulu with Disney+. The eight episodes will be available exclusively on the streaming platform.

Hulu with ads costs $9.99 per month or $99.99 annually, and the plan without ads is available for $18.99 per month. Hulu with Disney+ is priced at $82.99 per month, and the ad-free plan costs $95.99 monthly.

Into the Void: Life, Death & Heavy Metal gives us an up close and personal look into the lives of some of the legendary rock musicians and the music scene that at times stunned the world. From crimes to censorship to many other controversies, the series will explore a wide range of issues.

The trailer of the series presents several unseen footage, news coverage, and interviews with artists and acquaintances. From the death of Randy Rhoads in a plane crash to the public outcry against alleged Satanic elements in music to even the Judas Priest trial, the series takes us through some of the more shocking moments from heavy metal history. Sharon Osbourne shares in the trailer,
