A few days ago, we got a trailer for Dominique Thorne's Ironheart, and we have to say, fans don't seem to be happy. Currently, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is having a good run with Thunderbolts*, now The New Avengers, with fans loving the quality cinema that took them back to the good old days, but this response to the miniseries is concerning, as the positive sentiment could change real soon.

That's a talk for when the show will be released on June 24, 2025, on Disney+. Fans will be able to watch the first three episodes of the series on its debut. As of now, fans need to know that this trailer hasn't come close to being called the worst. That title goes to The Marvels (2023), which accumulated 567k dislikes, according to a Valnet website, MovieWeb.

Dominique Thorne was last seen playing Riri Williams, aka the titular Ironheart, in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. It was her introduction, and now it's time for a fleshed-out story. But before that arrives, here's a synopsis, just for the gist of it,

"Set after the events of 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,' Marvel Television's 'Ironheart' pits technology against magic when Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne)—a young, genius inventor determined to make her mark on the world—returns to her hometown of Chicago. Her unique take on building iron suits is brilliant, but in pursuit of her ambitions, she finds herself wrapped up with the mysterious yet charming Parker Robbins aka 'The Hood' (Anthony Ramos).

Other than Thorne, Anthony Ramos, Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, and more will be in the series.

But Ironheart's getting closer to The Marvels

That number is going up on Ironheart real fast and has reached 408k dislikes as of this writing. We have already mentioned the dislikes on The Marvels' teaser. It's the trailer of another Marvel miniseries, She-Hulk, that stands in third place with 387k dislikes. The show debuted on August 18, 2022. And like the trailers, neither the film nor the show was received well by the audience.

For The Marvels, the script and its tone failed to capture audiences' attention. The film opened with $46.1 million at the domestic box office, taking the crown over the weekend. However, it plunged so drastically after that that it didn't keep on with the downward spiral.

$46 million became $10 million, and by the final week, it garnered just $36k at the box office. All in all, The Marvels raked in $206 million and became a box office bomb considering its production budget of over $300 million.

She-Hulk became the talk of the town when it generated 634k engagements on Twitter (now X), according to Variety's Trending TV chart. Later, FlixPatrol reported that the show was the seventh-most-streamed show on Disney+. However, fans were divided over the CGI used in it.

Since Avengers: Endgame (2019), it's been a tough ride for the MCU, and the creators might just be hoping that Ironheart can cast some spell on fans' hearts. However, the reception of the trailer indicates the opposite. Whatever happens, it will conclude Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and we will get closer to Doom's lair in Phase Six with The Fantastic Four: First Steps kicking it off.
