Is there an Episode 7 in Maxton Hall Season 2? Here’s what we know

Maxton Hall Season 2 has ended, with its finale airing on November 28. Season 2 has a total of six episodes. So, there is no Episode 7 in Maxton Hall Season 2.

However, Maxton Hall has already been confirmed for season 3. And while fans have to wait for a while for its release, they will possibly be getting six episodes in the new season as well, just like the previous two seasons.

Based on the novel Save Me written by Mona Kasten, the series features Harriet Herbig-Matten, Damian Hardung, and Sonja Weißer in the lead roles. The series has already gained 7.5 stars on IMDb, thanks to its brilliant cast and performances.

Season 2 of the Amazon Prime series premiered on November 7 with the first three episodes. After that, new episodes came out every Friday, and the final episode was released on November 28 on Prime Video.

While we won't have Episode 7 in Maxton Hall Season 2, the series is already gearing up for Season 3, with more twists and turns.

What happens in Maxton Hall Season 2?

Maxton Hall Season 2 shows James, the male lead played by Damian Hardung, dealing with his mother's death. Viewers also see how it affects Ruby, the female lead played by Harriet Herbig-Matten, who is trying to achieve her Oxford goals while being distant from James. However, the couple soon fixes things between them.

Just like in Season 1, we again see how James's father tries to ruin the relationship between them. As for Lydia, James's sister, she soon gets into trouble with a teacher, Mr. Sutton, with a photo of the two getting everyone confused, and poor Ruby ends up taking the blame, making others believe that Ruby had an affair with the teacher. And Mr. Sutton doesn't even step in to clear things up or show that Ruby did nothing wrong.

The season ends with Ruby getting suspended, James being super mad about the outcomes Ruby had to face without doing anything, and their relationship on a new edge. Not only Ruby, but also her family has to face the consequences after Ruby's mother loses her job because of Mortimer.

Speaking of Season 2 to Yahoo Entertainment, Herbig-Matten said:

"You can expect a lot of drama and ups and downs. [James] is changing a lot and working on himself. [Ruby] is doing her thing and she’s not changing for him. She’s [setting] boundaries and that’s really important."

With this new cliffhanger, it will be interesting to see what Season 3 has in store. We will get to know if Ruby will get her scholarship back and if James will be able to stand and fight back against his father and follow his own choices and be able to stand up financially. The series will hopefully also follow Lydia and her relationship with the teacher and the consequences that might follow.

When is Maxton Hall Season 3 coming out?

Maxton Hall released its first season in 2024, followed by another season this year. This has left viewers with the speculation that the series will release its third season in 2026, following a yearly release schedule.

However, fans will have to take this with a pinch of salt, since the official site has only confirmed Season 3 but hasn't shared the official release date. Once released, it will be available on Amazon Prime.
