Ginny & Georgia Season 3 premiered on June 5, 2025, on Netflix. Created by Sara Lampert and featuring Brianne Howey and Antonia Gentry, the show never avoided addressing tough topics. Besides the central storylines, this season explores themes including unwanted teen pregnancy, the psychological cost of being part of a broken family, and identity formation.
In the third season, Ginny Miller is confronted with a tough situation, especially as a teen — an unexpected pregnancy. What started as an escape relationship spiraled into something quite tough for Ginny to handle alone, especially with the ongoing publicized trial of her mother, Georgia.
Here’s what we know about it:
Was Ginny pregnant in Ginny & Georgia Season 3?
Yes, Ginny Miller was pregnant in Ginny & Georgia Season 3, and since it was an unplanned pregnancy, she eventually decided to abort it.
Ginny felt quite out of place during her mother’s trial, when she had to live with her father. Her emotional state was constantly changing throughout the season. Ginny started to emotionally withdraw from people she knew, including Marcus. She began finding tranquility and comfort in the unknown. Shortly after, she met Wolfe in a workshop class for poetry, and she befriended him under a pseudonym, Gia.
They started dating, but their love turned bitterly sour after a single careless act. Following a heated argument with her father, who suspected Ginny of sneaking around, Ginny slept with Wolfe at a party.
Ginny’s world turned upside down when she found out she was pregnant. When she approached Wolfe about it, he was shocked and later ghosted her. This shattered Ginny as she felt quite helpless.
How did Georgia's advice help Ginny in Ginny & Georgia Season 3?
Unable to decide what to do next, Ginny turned to her mother for advice. The dynamic between the two has always been layered with tension, but this time it was different. Georgia didn’t panic or moralize. Instead, she shared her own experience, explaining that becoming a teen mother changed everything.
Rather than providing an answer, Georgia painted a clear picture of motherhood as a life-altering responsibility—one that could change Ginny’s future forever. No matter the decision, Georgia promised to support Ginny.
In the end, Ginny chose to have an abortion. The series handled such a sensitive yet pivotal topic beautifully; it was real and grounded, devoid of unnecessary drama. With Wolfe out of the picture and Georgia under house arrest, Ginny had to go to the clinic all by herself. However, Marcus, her former boyfriend, showed up at the clinic and took her home.
What followed was one of the most powerful and emotional scenes of the season. Ginny returned home and collapsed into Georgia’s arms. There was no judgment, no fanfare—just a shared moment of empathy between the two.
Surprisingly, by the end of the season, viewers find out that Georgia is also pregnant. However, the father of the baby remains a mystery.
