Vought Rising is set decades before the events of The Boys and explores the origins of Vought International with Soldier Boy and Stormfront leading the narrative. The filming of the show commenced on August 17, 2025, and is expected to conclude by December 2025, as per reports. Paul Grellong serves as the showrunner, with executive producers including Jensen Ackles, Aya Cash, Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and others, as TV Line confirms. Moreover, if Vought Rising expands beyond season 1, which is a high possibility, keeping in mind the already set fanbase, some discussions are underway about the possible crossover with Gen V.

The show also comes with a spectacular cast list with Jensen Ackles leading as Soldier Boy and Aya Cash appearing as Stormfront or Klara Risinger. Alongside them is Mason Dye as Bombsight, Will Hochman as Torpedo, and Elizabeth Posey as Private Angel.

The supporting cast includes Jordan Myrie, Nicolò Pasetti, Ricky Staffieri, and Brian J. Smith, whose characters have not been revealed yet.
