Australian actress Sarah Snook, famous for her performance in HBO's Succession, is ready for another starring role in Peacock's All Her Fault. Snook's leading role of Shiv Roy in Jesse Armstrong's black comedy series also earned her a well-deserved Emmy and two Golden Globe Awards.

All Her Fault is Peacock's latest mystery thriller eight-part series and is based on Andrea Mara's eponymous novel. Snook plays Marissa Irvine, a mother who goes to pick up her son Milo after a playdate at his friend's place. To her surprise, Milo is nowhere to be found and a strange woman answers the door, leaving Marissa with a string of mysteries.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Sarah Snook discussed how she was on a hunt for a different and interesting project after Succession and the latest Peacock series checked all the boxes:

“It’s so difficult because Succession was such a big, zeitgeist, huge moment thing...It meant so much to me, so just finding something different was really important. And I feel like this is that.”

While Sarah Snook guest-starred in shows like Robot Chicken and Soulmate after her starring role in HBO's satirical black comedy series, Peacock's All Her Fault marks her first starring role after Shiv Roy.

Snook's flawless portrayal of a political consultant in Succession has earned her many fans and now all eyes rest on her for this upcoming project. In her recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Snook discussed how Armstrong's series was a 'career-changing' moment for her and no further role will ever be compared to Shiv Roy. But the actress is ready to take a new chapter of her career with Marissa Irvine, the protagonist of All Her Fault.

Sarah Snook was a lookout for a new character after Shiv Roy and Marissa's warmth and her contrast to her breakthrough character interested the actress. She discussed the fundamental difference between her two characters as:

“It’s very different from Shiv. is internally cold and stiff and presented. Marissa, there’s a warmth. And so much of it came from costuming — we’ve got knits and cozy jumpers and we’re trying to find a way to keep that warmth alive, even though she’s going through the hellscape of having her child go missing.”

The contrast between the characters is inherently visible. While Shiv was an internally calculative being, always on the lookout for herself in her family's chaotic ways, Marissa is a strong-willed mother, desperately seeking answers and her missing child. While the central mystery in Peacock's latest series is riveting, it increases the emotional stakes for Marissa, who is on the lookout for her missing child.

Who else is in the cast for All Her Fault?

In addition to Sarah Snook, the All Her Fault cast is stacked with A-listers. Emmy-nominated actor Jake Lacy, who gained fame after his portrayal of Shane Patton in Mike White's The White Lotus, will play the character of Peter Irvine, Marissa's husband. As Milo's father, Peter will also be embroiled in the mystery of his son's disappearance, with his wife.

Dakota Fanning, another Emmy-nominated (for Ripley) actress, plays Jenny, one of Marissa's fellow mom friends. Jenny is also central to Milo's disappearance as he goes missing after a playdate with Jenny's son. Next on the list is actor Michael Peña, who plays the role of Detective McConville. Peña is a seasoned crime genre alum, having worked in projects like Netflix's Narcos: Mexico and Jack Ryan.

The All Her Fault cast is finally rounded up by a roster of actors, including Sophia Lillis as Carrie Finch, Abby Elliott as Lia, Jay Ellis as Colin and Thomas Cocquerel as Richie.
