It is new love and new problems in Netflix’s first trailer for My Life With Walter Boys Season 2

Netflix has just dropped the official trailer for My Life With Walter Boys Season 2, and Jackie (played by Nikki Rodriguez) has returned to the Walter ranch in Colorado. The trailer begins with Grace asking Jackie,

"What's it like being back? Are you still with Alex? Everybody's talking about it."

The scene cuts to Grace being shocked that Jackie kissed Cole, which we saw towards the end of season 1. The first season ended with Jackie moving back to New York with her maternal uncle, Richard, so the first question season two has to answer is why she is back. George and Katherine do not know why she even left in the first place, but Katherine's guess, as she tells George, is,

"I think we both know it had a little something to do with Alex and Cole"

Well, we do not know the real reason why she is back or how her relationship with the Walter brothers will go forward, but it will hopefully be revealed in season two, which is going to be released on August 28, 2025.

My Life With Walter Boys Season 2

My Life With Walter Boys is a Netflix teen drama based on the 2014 novel of the same name by Ali Novak. The series follows a teenager, Jackie Howard, as she moves to Silver Falls, Colorado, following her family's death in a car accident. Jackie's mother's best friend, Katherine Walter (played by Sarah Rafferty), and her husband, George Walter (played by Marc Blucas), are now her legal guardians, and she has to live with the Walter family, which consists of ten boys and one girl.

In Season 1, Jackie struggled to fit in at the new school, the new environment, and with new people. She developed feelings for not one, but two Walter boys, Alex (played by Ashby Gentry) and Cole (played by Noah LaLonde). While the romance between Alex and Jackie ended on uncomfortable terms, we still don't know if it is officially over.

In the My Life With Walter Boys Season 2 trailer, we see her getting closer to Cole while she tries to mend her friendship with Alex. As most love triangles go, we know both brothers have a weak spot for Jackie, and she cares about them both. Only time will tell who Jackie will choose.

The trailer for My Life With Walter Boys Season 2 also revealed that Alex is still not over what Jackie did, as he tells her

"I need some time."

Alex is probably going to have a new romantic interest in My Life With Walter Boys Season 2, as B. Hartford enters the scene to teach him

"dangerous rodeo stuff"

But at the same time, he tells Jackie,

"I can't move on from you."

Hence, Season 2 is going to be messy, romantically speaking, and the only hope is that Jackie, Alex, and Cole figure out their respective feelings and follow their hearts.

Cole, on the other hand, will be pursuing college as he tells the family,

"I'm tired of being a failure, so I've been looking into college applications."

It is safe to say that Jackie is still going to struggle with fitting in, as she says in the My Life With Walter Boys Season 2 trailer:

"The more that I try to fit in, the further it feels like I am from them."

However, it seems like Jackie will soon find herself getting comfortable and relaxed at Silver Falls and will do her best, as she says,

"This is the only home I have now. And I almost lost it."

My Life With Walter Boys Season 2 will feature love, dance, fights, drama, hardships, and happy moments. However, this isn't the end, as the show has been renewed for a third season.

My Life With Walter Boys season two arrives on Netflix on 28th August 2025, and season one is already streaming on Netflix.
