The Morning Show returns for its fourth season on Apple TV+, which means there will be more drama at the UBA headquarters with some major shake-ups in the company's management.
It would also bring Reese Witherspoon back with her co-star, Jennifer Aniston, for another chapter from Bradley and Alex's lives. The two had already worked on NBC's hit sitcom, Friends, where Aniston played Rachel, while Witherspoon guest-starred as one of Rachel's sisters. Years later, these co-stars also became co-producers on The Morning Show.
As the show gears up for the premiere of its fourth season, the actress seems excited to collaborate with her castmates, including Aniston. During her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, she said,
"The fact that this person that I met when I was 23 years old, now we are, you know, producers together, we're dealing with like HR issues together. It's amazing. It's been so much fun. We have the best time."
During the interview, Witherspoon also shared a few more details about the new and returning cast in the show's fourth season.
The Morning Show returns with some new faces, including Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irons

The Morning Show left us at a critical point in Bradley's life as she finally decides to make amends for something shameful and deeply upsetting that her brother did during the pandemic. The third season centered around this issue, which deepened her moral dilemma, as she tried to find a footing as the new, integral part of the network's morning show.
The show also brought a few new characters, including a billionaire, Paul Marks, played by the Mad Men star Jon Hamm. He becomes a part of the UBA debacle as Alex joins him on a space trip and returns to enter a romantic relationship with him. It doesn't end well for either, as he decides to buy the network that turned her into a celebrity.
Eventually, Alex realizes the truth about a company-wide hacking attempt, which was seemingly orchestrated by people working for Paul. That creates another ripple in her push-and-pull dynamic with Bradley. Eventually, she stood by Bradley's side, but it's not clear whether the fourth season will show them as friends or foes.
However, it would still offer a timely narrative, as before, about the state of the traditional media chain and its increasing tie-ins with the uber-rich, who try to seek control over how the information is transmitted or perceived.
Jimmy Fallon addressed the show's similar timeliness during his conversation with Reese Witherspoon, where the actress also shared some details about the new cast. She said,
"This time, we have so many amazing guest stars. We have Jeremy Irons, and we have Marion Cotillard, who comes in, and her family owns the network, and she's very manipulative. So, her and Jen [Aniston] have all this great stuff. Then, I get to work with Billy Crudup again, who's amazing. Mark Duplass."
She also added,
"Jon Hamm is back. He is [plays] the billionaire we love to hate."
There's room for more surprises, since Witherspoon concluded, saying,
"There's some secret guest stars that I can't talk about."
The Morning Show Season 4 premieres on Apple TV+ on September 17, 2025.
