The Golden Bachelor Season 2 featured Nicolle's elimination along with Debbie. The episode also featured Carol's self-elimination.

After leaving the ABC show, Nicolle appeared for an exclusive interview with Parade on October 16, 2025. She opened up about the things she shared during the show and the comments she made.

Nicolle reflected on her journey on the reality show and mentioned that fellow cast members told her that she was never their "villain." She also talked about the show's edit and how she felt it was "very slanted."

Addressing the events from The Golden Bachelor, Nicolle shared in her interview:

"I just have to lean into it. That train left the station. I had no idea I was going to have the 'villain edit' at all. I mean, I came away with it never thinking that. And the other girls have all told me, too, 'You were never our villain.' And so it's a bit manufactured and the (show) editing is very slanted, but it's okay."

She added:

"I said the things that I said, and I gave them a lot of material to go with, and I don't regret any of it."

The Golden Bachelor Season 2: Nicolle Briscoe shares her thoughts on the "villain edit," potentially becoming the next Golden Bachelorette, and more

After not receiving the rose, along with fellow contestant Debbie, Nicolle Briscoe was sent home from The Golden Bachelor Season 2. Episode 5 of the ABC show also featured Carol's self-elimination. As a result, the show then had three remaining contestants of Mel Owens' choice.

Nicolle attended an interview with Parade on October 16, 2025, and reflected on her elimination and her time on the ABC show. Fans must remember Nicolle confessing to the cameras that Mel didn't choose her, but maybe they would choose her for The Golden Bachelor at the time of her exit.

Sharing more about her comments, Nicolle mentioned:

"I just think the experience of being the Golden Bachelorette is an intense experience. I think I would be an interesting candidate for that. Why would I want to do it? I don't know. I would love the experience."

She added that she would love an opportunity to become the lead on the ABC show. Nicolle also shared that she would bring a lot of heart and a lot of fun:

"I think viewership could be high because I am unexpected," she added.

Talking about the criticizing comments she has had since appearing on the show, Nicolle confessed that she had no idea that she would have the "villain edit" from the show.

Nicolle added that the things she said provided her with a lot of material, and she didn't regret any of it. She thought that maybe she could have been smarter about it, but she knew that everyone was talking about those things. She became the individual who highlighted those things.
