"It's embarrassing": Sister Wives' Christine opens up about her past polygamous marriage in candid chat with husband David

Recently released Sister Wives Season 20 Episode 6 featured a conversation between Christine and David.

Fans may recall that after getting divorced from Kody Brown, she got married to David. While out for dinner, she opened up about life and reflected on her time with Kody.

When David asked her about her life with him compared to what she had with Kody during their polygamy, Christine shared something that she realized. She mentioned feeling embarrassed by it.

"I realized that I was a "keeping-score-kind-of-a-person." It's embarrassing when I realized how focused I was on Kody. I don't like that I was even doing that, and bothered. That's frustrating for me," replied Christine.

Sister Wives Season 20 Episode 6: Christine recalls her time with Kody and being in a polygamous relationship

During the dinner with her husband, David, Christine opened up about being comfortable with him. She talked about the "simplicity" of their life.

"I feel like, comfortable with you. I think, I just like the simpleness of our life. And that's my favorite. That we just...that you come home every night and you'll sit in the kitchen while I make dinner. And then in the morning we have coffee together. That's my favorite," shared Christine.

David agreed and shared that that's what he had been looking forward to too. He talked about normalcy and being able to talk to the partner. He asked Christine how it felt being with him compared to the polygamous lifestyle.

Responding to David, Sister Wives star noted that she used to keep a score, and it was embarrassing. She recalled her time with Kody and how much she was focused on him.

When asked about Christine's thoughts, fellow cast member Meri noted:

"I think any human being is going to keep score at some level. And I've definitely been there. I definitely have been there."

Another cast member, Janelle, was also asked the same. In response, she noted that her life was too busy. She was too exhausted to worry about Kody's whereabouts. She recalled the times when she got frustrated because of such things.

Further in their conversation, Christine noted that there was no more jealousy. The two talked about their previous relationships. David recalled one time when Christine referred to him as Kody.

Later, he also asked her about other ex-Sister Wives. Christine noted that Janelle was great.

However, things were not well with Robyn as she felt betrayed by her. She noted that she couldn't trust Robyn.

"There's been a couple times, where I trusted her and told her things. I thought were in confidence. And then I get in trouble for them. And Kody would get mad. I can't trust her," shared Christine.

When asked about it, Kody noted that Robyn had always been advocating for her. It was because she wanted all the Sister Wives' relationships with him to be good. Later, Robyn recalled her conversations with Christine. After learning about the things that Christine wanted Kody to know, she shared those things with Kody.

Christine said that after Robyn messed with her, she cut her off. She did the same with Meri. She also shared that she would love to have a relationship with Robyn's kids, if they wanted the same.
