"It's really sad": RuPaul's Drag Race UK star Elle Vosque reacts to Tayris going home

BBC released the latest RuPaul's Drag Race UK Season 7 finale on November 27, 2025. It featured four finalists, guests, eliminated queens, and many renowned personalities.

The previous episode of the show featured Tayris’ elimination, which left the remaining four finalists saddened. After the elimination, Silllexa Diction, Elle Vosque, Bones, and Catrin Feelings opened up to each other about Tayris.

They noted that it had been a weird day, and they were sad to see her go home. One of the participants, Elle Vosque, confessed to the cameras:

"It's really sad that Tayris is gone. She was such a strong competitor. Even though she didn't have a badge, she put up her fate while she was here."

RuPaul's Drag Race UK Season 7 Finale: Final four queens reflect on Tayris' elimination

The recently released RuPaul's Drag Race UK Season 7 Episode 10 started with the remaining queens reflecting on the recent elimination. It was Tayris Mongardi who went home in the previous episode.

After the elimination, cast members returned backstage and recalled their time together with Tayris. This included Elle Vosque, Silllexa Diction, Bones, and Catrin Feelings. As they returned, they saw Tayris’ writings on one of the mirrors.

Catrin Feelings, in a private confessional, noted:

"So we're back, and I've just sent Tayris home. It's really weird feeling."

They read the message that RuPaul's Drag Race UK star Tayris left for them on the mirror:

"As Maya Angelou once said, big tits, thin wrists, all together now pum pum pum. It's been absolute pleasure and privilege to share the love with you girls. Forever a baddie, Tayris."

Fellow participant Elle Vosque confessed that they were really sad about Tayris’ elimination, mentioning that Tayris had been one of the strong competitors on the show. The remaining finalists noted how it had been a weird day after Tayris was eliminated:

"I'm absolutely devastated and heartbroken for Tayris right now. But I'm also chaffed that I'm in the top four. And it's like really weird feeling," confessed Catrin Feelings.

On the other hand, Tayris shared that she was gutted after her elimination:

"It's gutting to be eliminated so close to the final. But did I think I was going to win the season next week? Probably not."

In her November 25, 2025, interview with Gay Times, Tayris stated that she took Mama Ru's decision to send her home with love and respect. She also talked about the possibility of being on All Stars, and that she would gladly join.
