HBO Max's It: Welcome to Derry is raising the horror stakes with each episode. Pennywise is no longer operating from the shadows; children and adults now know that something is haunting their beloved town of Derry. Previously in It: Welcome to Derry, we saw how the 60's Losers Club encountered Pennywise for the first time, and Lilly was left behind in the tunnels. She would have been taken by Pennywise if not for Taneil's dagger.
In Episode 6 of It: Welcome to Derry, titled 'In the Name of the Father,' we get a sneak peek into the past. This season has carefully layered character work under the scares. We meet families trying to survive grief and racism. We watch friendship bend and break under pressure. The episode reveals a major connection between Pennywise and Nurse Ingrid Kersh's past. On the other hand, the town rallies together to hunt down the missing Hank Grogan.
Here's a breakdown of who plays whom in the latest episode of It: Welcome to Derry. Enjoy a (almost) spoiler-free cast and character guide below.
It: Welcome to Derry Episode 6 cast and character guide
Taylour Paige as Charlotte Hanlon
Paige plays Charlotte, a woman torn between moral duty and maternal fear. She is Will's mother and Leroy's partner. She is steady, fierce, and often the conscience of the Hanlon family. In Episode 6, Charlotte's fear pushes her to protect her close ones.
Jovan Adepo as Leroy Hanlon
Leroy is a US Air Force Major and someone who struggles with trauma. His relationship with his son Will isn't the best as of now, and this conflict shapes much of Episode 6. Leroy knows that his son isn't safe, especially after the incidents in the tunnel. While Will wants to save his friends. During the argument, he slaps Will, and he falls to the floor and starts crying.
Matilda Lawler as Marge Truman
Lawler's Marge blends curiosity with a raw resilience. We have had a glimpse of her bravery previously. In Episode 6, she gels with Rich. Rich even helps her with her eye dressing, and it is one of the sweetest moments of the episode. Amid the chaos and horror, the two kids bond as they share their insecurities.
Amanda Christine as Ronnie Grogan
Ronnie, in this episode, is tough and guarded. She is not willing to go back to the tunnels while Lilly keeps insisting. There is a clear rift between the two. She refuses to return to danger. Her scenes underline how trauma changes children in lasting ways.
Clara Stack as Lilly Bainbridge
Lily, on the other hand, knows that they need to act fast to stop Pennywise. Episode 6 highlights her guilt and her discovery of Ingrid Kersh's past.
Blake Cameron James as Will Hanlon
Will is Hanlon and Charlotte's son. In Episode 6, he becomes even more determined to help his friends despite the danger ahead. His clash with Leroy is central to the episode.
Arian S. Cartaya as Rich Santo
Rich stays by Marge's side and tries to keep the group together. His scenes show how kids rely on each other. Cartaya's Rich is warm and open-hearted. He provides a counterweight to fear with goofy courage.
Madeleine Stowe as Ingrid Kersh
Episode 6 reveals Ingrid's childhood connection to Pennywise and why she has been strangely acting around Lilly. Kersh's a Juniper Hill worker, and her relationship with Hank remains a secret as of now.
Stowe's Ingrid is the episode's most unsettling turn. She is charming at first, then unnerving, a woman who loves a monster she calls 'Papa'. Episode 6 of It: Welcome to Derry reveals her chilling obsession that reframes several events of the season.
