Malice is an upcoming psychological thriller series that will be released on Prime Video on November 14, 2025. The first trailer has been released, which features Jack Whitehall as Adam Healey, a seemingly great nanny who eventually does questionable things.
The first trailer of Malice gives us a clear look at the kind of show it is going to be, from the way Whitehall's Adam seems to be a great nanny, but has an eerie presence. He is clearly up to no good.
Jack Whitehall's character in Malice is as creepy as they come
No one wants to look after their children constantly while on vacation. Especially a family that can hire a helicopter. When the Tanner family needs a nanny while they are on a holiday in Greece, they meet Adam, who is great at his job. He is great with the kids, he cooks well, and he is always present. However, the last part is what becomes a problem later on. As Jamie Tanner points out in the Malice trailer,
"There's something strange about him. He's always there."
Jamie isn't wrong. In the trailer, we see Jamie and his wife Nat dancing to a song they like to call their song. Adam is nearby, and in a strange way, turns on the blender right when the couple is spending some quality time dancing to the song. This abruptly interrupts Nat and Jamie's sweet moment, and it looks like Adam did that on purpose. He is strangely always present anywhere the family is, in a way that isn't exactly suspicious at first.
As the Malice trailer continues, we see stranger things happen, like the Tanner family's regular nanny falling sick and Adam taking the spot. Besides, we see Adam having a bad influence on Jamie, and he is likely the reason Jamie goes to a strip club and drinks too much. What's shocking is that the trailer hints at Adam probably being the one who frames Jamie for sending inappropriate emails to a colleague. That isn't the end, as we see Adam hiding something in the boot of his car and lying about it.
Adam has clearly entered the lives of the Tanners to cause harm, and he is going to do that in a meticulous manner. Things take an even creepier turn when, towards the end of the trailer, we can hear Adam say,
"You're a special family. Thank you so much for letting me into your lives."
The logline of Malice, according to the trailer's description, reads,
Adam (Jack Whitehall) is a charismatic tutor who charms his way into the life of the wealthy Tanner family while they’re on holiday in Greece. When the family’s nanny falls dangerously ill, Adam orchestrates his way in to their London home and his true vengeful nature begins to emerge...
Malice stars Jack Whitehall as Adam Healey, David Duchovny as Jamie Tanner, Carice van Houten as Nat Tanner, Christine Adams as Jules, and Raza Jaffrey as Damien. The show also stars Harry Gilby, Teddie Allen, Phoenix Laroche, Gloria Garcia, Rianna Kellman, and Jade Khan in unspecified roles. The show is written and executive-produced by James Wood and produced collaboratively by Expectation Entertainment, Tailspin Films, and Amazon MGM Studios.
Malice will be released on Prime Video on November 14, 2025.
