JaNa Craig reveals the heartfelt reason that she lost Destination X for

JaNa Craig was a "bombshell" on Destination X and entered the reality TV competition with Peter Weber. She is an alumnus of Love Island USA season 6, and Peter was seen on Bachelor Nation as well as The Traitors.

Throughout her time during the challenges, they were treated like outsiders; however, she never it it get through to her and managed to do her best.

During her exit interview with NBC Insider, JaNa said that she knew about the target on her back but was happy that they were seeing her as competition.

Before she exited Destination X, JaNa was able to ally with Peter, with whom she came in, as well as Rick Szabo. Upon entering, JaNa said that she had no idea who Peter was.

But after getting to know him, they became good friend on the show. As for being friends with Rick, it was an unconventional choice as the rest of the cast was underestimating him, but JaNa felt like it was the best possible decision that they could have taken.

Talking about her reasoning to take him on, she said that Rick was very smart and just by looking at the birds of a location, he was able to determine the place they were at. She and Peter had a choice to make.

They could either recruit Rick to their team or get cheated by him. However, the reward was greater than the risk as they had assessed, and thus, JaNa felt it was a "beneficial risk to take."

Destination X - Why did JaNa Craig decide to lose?

JaNa was sure that after the map room had gotten the best of her alliance, there would be someone who is going to be eliminated that day from Destination X. However, she said she felt content with everything that had happened so far and was okay to exit on her terms.

Peter and she had a goal from the beginning that they wanted Rick to go till the end among the three of them, as the prize money of $250,000 could change his life. She said,

"Me and Peter promised ourselves that, after learning about Rick's story and the situation with his family, we would do whatever it takes to get him to the finish line. Obviously, $250,000 is a lot to win, but I think Rick was way, way more deserving of that than myself. So once we lost that [soldier] game, I already told myself, ‘Whatever it takes to get Rick to the finish line.’"

Continuing, she explained that even though she was on Destination X for a very short time, the friendships that were formed were for a lifetime.

She had a close elder brotherly bond with Peter, while Rick was that uncle who "deserved better in life." Thus, even though she was leaving the competition, JaNa said that she was not sad, and was rather hopeful for her friends.
