Jeremy Renner says stakes are "very high" in Mayor of Kingstown Season 4 as Emmy winner Edie Falco emerges as Anchor Bay’s new prison warden

Mayor of Kingstown Season 4 is now just a few days away, and Jeremy Renner has already teased that the new chapter brings more chaos and problems for Mike McLusky. One of the major issues Mike is facing in Season 4 is his brother being behind bars.

And to make it worse, Anchor Bay has a new prison warden played by Emmy-winning actress Edie Falco. As seen in the trailer, Falco's Nina Hobbs doesn't seem interested in helping Mike all the time. She makes it clear that there are "no free passes" when Mike asks her to keep his brother safe.

This means the stakes have never been this high, and Jeremy Renner himself shared this in a recent conversation at the CBS Mornings interview. The Marvel star teased:

"The stakes are very high this season from the get-go, from the opening scene, and to come up against the brick wall like Nina Hobbs, and new warden in town creates real problems for Mike throughout the entire season."

Falco was then asked to share what it was like to work with Renner, to which she mentioned that he helps her immerse in the character and which helped a lot while filming Mayor of Kingstown Season 4. Renner joked that Falco is "intimidating" and that he got terrified of her at one point.

In the trailer, Mike offered to help Falco, saying, "Warden, take care of my brother Kyle, and I'll take care of you." While someone else could have accepted the deal, Nina Hobbs tells Mike that it's her castle now, suggesting she has no interest in joining forces with him.

In the interview, Renner mentioned that Mike will face a lot of problems, and Warden Nina Hobbs is going to be one of them. She's bold, brave, and above all, wants to fix everything at Anchor Bay.
