Jersey Shore Family Vacation Season 8 Premiere Recap - Vinny tries speed dating; Snooki meets her birth family 

Jersey Shore Family Vacation season 8 dropped its first episode on May 29, 2025. The episode featured various segments of the cast where they gave updates about their personal lives since the seventh season ended earlier this year.

Starting off with Angelina, she is seen in a studio trying to record two songs. The lyrics, she says, represent her life and breakup from ex Vinny 2.0. In a confessional, Angelina reveals that she has been singing for a long time now, but manages to hit none of the notes that Tony was asking of her.

However, she is blissfully unaware of how bad the situation is and says that her songs are coming out "really amazing." As she hears the final version, Tony admits that he used a bit of autotune to correct minor notes. In her Jersey Shore Family Vacation confessional, Angelina says that she is more of a rapper than a singer.

While they are in Little Italy, Pauly decides that he will arrange a random speed dating opportunity for Vinny. His friends are hoping to find him a match soon after his messy breakup with Angelina.

They call this whole arrangement 'Date the Chooch.' Explaining the rules, Pauly says that anybody can come off the street and talk to Vinny.

They set up a table for Vinny in the middle and announced to the general public about this dating experience. An Italian feast is going on, and a variety of girls sign up for the date, all very beautiful and talented.

The two have three minutes to get to know each other before Vinny moves on to the next. Vinny, talking to the cameras, says that he is not ready to be speed dating right now, but is also struggling in that department and thus, is hoping to keep an open mind regarding the whole thing.

Vinny hits it off with multiple women, however, some did not make the cut, especially the one who looked exactly like Angelina, his ex.

In the meantime, on Jersey Shore Family Vacation, Pauly calls out Ronnie for flirting with the girls who are in the lineup to meet with Vinny.

Sookie has been adopted, but in an attempt to find her real parents, she has hired a DNA team. The results came back on this episode, and they showed her pictures of her birth mom. Her real mother looked exactly like Snooki, and this made her emotional, along with her adoptive parents.

Talking about her feelings towards the same, she says,

"My mom's right here, it's awkward, and I didn't want to hurt my mom's feelings, but also like this is a huge moment for me."

As she looked at the pictures of her brothers and sisters, Snooki felt like her husband resembled them. However, the team revealed that there was no information about her biological father. Soon, she decided to get in contact with them, and they started texting.
