Just Alice (Simplemente Alicia) is Netflix's upcoming Spanish-language romantic series, which will arrive on the platform on November 5.

The romantic dramedy is directed by Catalina Hernández and Rafael Martínez, with a screenplay by Marta Betoldi and Esteban del Campo Bagu. Ever since Netflix's success with Colombian titles like Narcos and the recently released One Hundred Years of Solitude (an adaptation of Gabriel García Márquez's classic novel), the platform has shown keen interest in Colombian titles spanning across genres.

Just Alice will follow a woman's quest to juggle between her two love lives and husbands. The show is a part of the platform's lineup of 10 Colombian projects for 2025, which also includes Medusa Season 2, the final season of Fake Profile and the next entry of Eva Lasting.

Just Alice will drop on Netflix on November 5. Reportedly, the show will consist of a total of 19 episodes, which will be dropped all at once for a binge-watching experience.

Since the upcoming Colombian series is an exclusive Netflix title, you will need an active subscription to catch the first season. The streaming platform offers multiple plans starting from the Standard ($17.99/month) and going up to the Premium Plan ($24.99/month). What is the plot for Just Alice?

According to IMDB, the synopsis for the upcoming series reads as follows:

A resourceful wife leads a double life, expertly juggling separate households and husbands while trying to keep her elaborate charade from falling apart.

The series follows Alicia Fernández, a woman who leads a double life with two husbands, an author and a former priest. We catch Alicia on the way to her second marriage to her fiancé, Pablo, in a Church. Despite all the warning signs, Alicia successfully marries Pablo, an earnest suitor who is unaware of his new wife's first husband.

Just Alice will feature a complicated love triangle and a passionate love story between Alicia and both of her husbands. While she seems determined to make her dual love life work, her secrets and lies are bound to catch up to the two men in her life. What will happen when Alicia's husbands find out about her dual life and this big betrayal?

The Spanish series is expected to be a blend between a sweet rom-com story and a passionate soap opera, sure to delight fans who love watching light-hearted rom-com shows. The looming threat of Alicia's dual life catching up to her will also keep viewers on their toes and will make for a perfect binge-watching experience.


Meet the Just Alice cast

The Just Alice cast is led by Colombian actress and singer Verónica Orozco, who has appeared in many famous Colombian television series like Hermanos y hermanas, La gloria de Lucho and Eva Lasting. Orozco will play the titular character of Alicia, a woman juggling her career and two marriages. Alicia will be central to the main conflict of the show and it will be interesting to see how her dual life reaches its conclusion.

Columbian actors Michel Brown and Sebastián Carvajal are the next additions in the Just Alice cast, who will play Alicia's two husbands, Alejo and Pablo, respectively. While Alejo will be a writer who has dedicated his last best-selling novel to his wife, Pablo will be an earnest former priest.

Additional cast for the upcoming show includes Constanza Camelo as Alicia's friend Susana, and a roster of Colombian actors, namely Julián Román, Leo Deluglio, Ana María Medina, Daniela Tapia, Fernando Arévalo and Biassini Segura.
