Recently, Prime Video has dropped the first official trailer for Justice on Trial, and already evident from Sheindlin's line in the latest clip, the upcoming courtroom drama will explore the loopholes of the judiciary system and how mistakes on any entity's part in a case
"Can change the way justice is delivered."

Prime Video's Justice on Trial to revisit some of the most-debated criminal cases this July
According to Prime Video, an official logline of Justice on Trial reads:
"The daily lives of 340 million Americans are impacted by the verdicts in the eight landmark cases that the series explores."
With Sheindlin being in control of the courtroom, a new approach to the cases will be taken, revisiting certain angles that probably passed unnoticed, leading to unfair cases as well as unjust results. Justice on Trial will be available for streaming in over 240 regions worldwide, and all the individual episodes will be exploring different cases with fresh legal perspectives.
According to Deadline, Judge Sheindlin reportedly mentioned in a statement that judges are not there to enact the laws but rather interpret them. However, wrong judgments can lead to justice being delayed and served the wrong way or to the wrong person. She further added:
"I couldn’t be more proud of this series. Everybody who watches it will come away a little smarter. Mission accomplished."
The latest clip of Justice on Trial also features a number of things: interviews with the ones who have been accused, courtroom sequences of witnesses delivering their statements, investigators collecting evidence from the scene of the crime, and individuals carrying out heinous acts of crime. The eight cases that will be showcased in the upcoming series will have answers to a lot of common questions, like what legal boundaries should be maintained by both parties, what must be answered and what should not be, and what are the consequences of false statements, wrong judgments (on any official's part), and evidence tampering.
To bring it all down to one single question -what happens when the justice system itself is put on trial? To that end, we have Judge Sheindlin setting up her own legal unit to revisit some of the most infamous cases in the United States. After leading top courts in New York for over a decade, Sheindlin has now made her way to the small screens, and justice will be served in the most deserving way—thanks to Prime Video's latest rendition.
