Kids Baking Championship: Amazing Animals - About the Hosts
Previously, we used to see Valerie Bertinelli host the show since season 1 with Duff Goldman. Although, this time, Kardea Brown will replace Valerie. It was confirmed in January this year that Valerie will not be returning for another season of the show.
Kardea is not a new face on the show. She has made previous appearances as a guest judge on Kids Baking Championship and Spring Baking Championship. However, this new season will be her very first one in a more permanent role. Duff and she have worked together on a holiday special previously.
It seems like Duff and Kardea share great chemistry on Kids Baking Championship. While talking about her to People, Duff said,
"Kardea has been so much fun as a co-host. She is absolutely killing it. She is so good with children...Her culinary chops are great. She knows what she's talking about. But seeing her with kids, she has just absolutely blossomed. She is so natural and easy with them. The kids just implicitly trust her. It's lovely. It's really, really great. I am so excited about it."
