Created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, the series features Billy Bob Thornton, Ali Larter, and Jacob Lofland in the main roles.

While Landman Season 1 was a hit, with Tommy's son Cooper joining the oil industry and Cami's husband Monty Miller's death bringing new challenges, Landman Season 2 focuses on Cami stepping up, taking Monty's responsibilities, and Tommy's father being on the scene, bringing new dynamics.

Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy Norris: Tommy is the father of Cooper and son of T.L. He plays a main role in M-Tex Oil, and he can be very competitive and cruel when it comes to business. However, that doesn't apply to his family, as he is shown as a caring father who doesn't show his soft side directly but through his actions. In Landman season 2, the viewers are loving this character trying to build a bond with his son, Cooper, without hiding his feelings anymore.

Ali Larter as Angela Norris: Angela is the ex-wife of Tommy and the mother of their children. Angela is unapologetically herself and isn't afraid to stand up for herself or her family. However, she can be sensitive at times, showing a basic nature of humans, which is loved by the viewers.

Andy Garcia as Gallino: After a brief appearance, Gallino returns this season as a character who's shaking things up. While he was seen helping Tommy out in the first season, in Landman season 2, he is more focused on his own plans. He is also an important member of the cartel. Alongside, he is also portraying himself as Dan Morrell, the founder of Sonrisa, which made his character more complex.

Jacob Lofland as Cooper Norris: Cooper is proving himself to be a capable son who is very understanding of his father. Just like season 1, the new season also shows him dedicated to his work, finding new oil rigs, and trying to build a better bond with his father. Alongside, he is also attracted to Ariana.

Sam Elliott as T.L.: Season 2 introduced viewers to Tommy's father, T.L. He is an old man who doesn't share a very good relationship with his son and has many regrets from his past. However, how their relationship ultimately develops, and whether they can turn it into a strong bond, is yet to be seen.

Kayla Wallace Rebecca Falcone: Rebecca works as an attorney in the Landman, who is very intelligent and can handle difficult situations as well. In Season 2, the character is only getting stronger with her help on M-Tex with the lawsuit. There are times when she puts the company first, even knowing the risks, showing just how reliable and trustworthy she is.

Demi Moore as Cami Miller: Miller is the wife of Monty, who died in the first season. While she gave a very powerful speech at the beginning of Landman Season 2, leaving others shocked, she still took Tommy's advice later to help her with the business side. The character is seen as someone who is not afraid of challenges or risks.

Paulina Chávez as Ariana: Ariana is a young mother who is all out trying to protect her family after her husband’s death. The series shows her as a mother who is not afraid to face challenges. Over time, viewers are also seeing her growing bond with Cooper. However, whether they will end up together or go their separate ways is yet to be discovered.

Michelle Randolph as Ainsley Norris: Ainsley Norris is Tommy's daughter, who is brave and is not afraid to speak up or even make her own choices in the series. At times, she can be seen as stubborn. In Landman Season 2, Ainsley is mostly seen juggling college and family life while trying to keep a positive head.

What happens in Landman Season 2 Episode 4?

In Landman Season 2 Episode 4, viewers finally see Tommy reconnect with his father after facing old regrets and memories that caused the strain in their relationship. Tommy eventually also sees his daughter Ainsley getting affected as a result of the resentment he was keeping for his father, which he eventually fixes.

On the other side, the Landman Season 2 episode showed progress in Cooper and Ariana's story, who are trying to understand each other's lives and feelings while keeping their priorities intact. While dealing with a surprise accident at M-Tex, Rebecca also spends time with Charlie, showing a more human side.

Amidst the new problems, Cami went all out helping M-Tex with the problems by talking to investors. However, Gallino rejects her offer.
