Sam Elliott has officially joined the cast of Season 2 of Landman. The legendary actor plays T.L., the father of Billy Bob Thornton’s character, Tommy Norris. Even though this is the first time the two actors have worked with each other, they first met way back in the late 1980s, and their first collaborative work was Tombstone in the early ’90s.He described putting them together as “right,” and said their long history makes performing scenes with one another easier rather than harder.
