Leanne and Carol from Leanne kind of gave us the Charlie and Alan vibe from Two and a Half Men

Leanne is a sitcom that premiered recently on Netflix on July 31, 2025. Created by Susan McMartin, Chuck Lorre, and Leanne Morgan, the comedy series features Morgan, Kristen Johnston, Celia Weston, and others.

While the show has only one season so far, it has 16 episodes and focuses on the titular character, Leanne (Morgan), whose life turns upside down when her husband of 33 years leaves her for another woman.

The show also has the character of Carol (Johnston), who is the titular character's younger sister and is twice-divorced. She has recently moved back to Knoxville, Tennessee, from Chicago.

The show has a lot of comic hijinks as the titular character tries to settle down in her new life as a single mother and often relies on her sister Carol for assistance.
