"Led me in the right direction": Love Is Blind star Anton makes his feelings clear for Ali

Love Is Blind Season 9 premiered on October 1, 2025. The first episode of the social experiment introduced the singles looking to find a romantic connection.

One of the contestants on the Netflix show was Anton, who found a connection with Ali. The two grew closer after learning about each other's first jobs, the age when they learned English, among other things.

After Ali confessed her feelings to Anton, he also responded with how he felt for her. Love Is Blind star talked about getting signs from God, his heart, and his soul.

"I love you too, Aline. I had a dream as well last night, and, um, that dream was of you. I knew at that point that all the signs that I've gotten from God, that I've gotten from myself, from my heart, from my soul, have led me in the right direction," shared Anton.

Love Is Blind Season 9 Episode 1: Anton and Ali grow closer as they go through various blind dates

The first episode of Love Is Blind Season 9 featured a few blind dates between Anton and Ali. While sharing more about each other, the two grew closer.

Before one of their dates, Anton confessed to the cameras about his feelings for Alin.

"When I hear Ali's voice in the pod, it's like a song that sings to me. I think about her all the time. I hope she has the same feeling that I do, but I think the best-case scenario for tonight would be to get a little more clarity on where I stand. I don't have all the clarity that I need right now."

During their date, Ali revealed that it took a lot for her not to put walls up. She talked about how she had been thinking about Anton the whole time.

When Anton asked how she felt about him, she revealed:

"I love you. I, like, 100%, just, every cell in my body, I love you."

While sharing her true feelings, Love Is Blind star Ali got emotional. In response, Anton told her that he also loved her.

He added that he also dreamed about her and that he had gotten various signs. With all those signs, they had led Anton in the "right direction."

"And I know that the decision that I've come to is the right one for not just me, but for both of us. Aline...will you spend the rest of your life with me?" said Anton.

Listening to the proposal from Anton, Ali was surprised. She was still emotional. On the other hand, Anton got on one knee in his pod and asked her the question.

Love Is Blind star Ali accepted Anton's proposal while she was still emotional.

"I'm not supposed to ugly cry. My mascara's not waterproof," said Ali.

After the proposal, Anton confessed that he knew that it was the "right thing" to do. He hoped that Ali felt the same way. She responded that she also did.
