LEGO Masters, the massive reality competition hit, is returning in a big way for its much-awaited fifth season, and it won’t disappoint with grandeur, grandiosity, and creativity. Adored by all age groups for its intense challenges and jaw-dropping LEGO creations, the show still proudly promotes imagination and teamwork to the best of its ability.
Premiering on May 19, 2025, Season 5 will showcase 11 skilled teams distributed across North America on FOX.
Each team will face unique and tough LEGO challenges, aiming to impress the judges and take home the $100,000 grand prize. Returning as host is the always-entertaining Will Arnett, who brings humor, fun, and energy to the show. Also returning are expert judges Amy Corbett and Jamie Berard, who will use their vast LEGO knowledge to guide and evaluate the contestants.
What Is LEGO Masters?
LEGO Masters is a competition series where two people vie in different LEGO-building challenges. These aren’t ordinary toy sets; these are serious creations that contestants build big, moving, and mind-blowing feats in a short period. First place comes with a $100,000 grand prize, a LEGO trophy, and undying bragging rights to LEGO Universe.
Meet the Season 5 Teams
This season includes a total of 11 distinct teams from around the country and Canada. Every pair has its ties, whether it is family or friends, or creative partners. An overview of the teams is as below:
- Ian & Sage – A brother and sister band from Wimberly, Texas. They love to build and have a lot of sibling bonds.
- Alex & Tone, brothers from Toronto, Ontario. They come with a range of design talent along with playful energy.
- Nick & Kyndall – A second brotherhood, this time from Carmichael, California. They are notable in their teamwork and sense of humour.
- Maia & Jamie- a father-daughter group based in Hamilton, Ontario. Their builds display fun and heart simultaneously.
- Marcella & Krista – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Best friends. They bring creativity and girl power to the contest.
- John & Justin – Austin and Dallas, Texas, friends. Their experience of tech-savvy may be their secret weapon.
- Anne & Luke are a mother and son duo from Barrington, Illinois. Their relationship and passion for LEGO will make them go far.
- Ben & Michael, Corey & Rebecca, Anthony & Joe, and Niki & Brittain – These are still kind of a mystery, but we’ll find out more about them once the season starts.
What to Expect This Season
Season 5 will include franchise-based themed challenges of the biggest franchises, such as Star Wars, Wicked, and Batman. Viewers can anticipate epic builds, unexpected twists, and jaw-dropping constructions.
As it is always the case, teams will be evaluated based on their creativity, storytelling, and technical skills.
