Shark Tank investor Kevin O'Leary shared an Instagram clip on May 11, 2025 sharing his thoughts on Canada and the U.S. He mentioned how he has been talking about the "mega-economy" between the two countries and how they do not need to give up "sovereignty."

The ABC reality show's panelist talked about how they need to "stop" playing small and let the tariffs fall. He also mentioned that it was time to let the rest of the world know their intentions about the business they want to do.

Kevin O'Leary captioned his video clip with the following:

"I've said it before and I'll say it again: It's time for a mega-economy between Canada and the U.S. We don't need to give up sovereignty—we just need to stop playing small. Let the tariffs fall. Let the economy roar. And let the world know we mean business."

Shark Tank judge Kevin O'Leary shares his thoughts on negotiating a deal with Canada, and more

In a recently shared video clip, O'Leary Ventures chairman Kevin O'Leary talked about negotiating with Canada. He confessed that he would negotiate a deal with Canada because he believes in a "giant economic" reunion between the U.S. and Canada.

For the same, he stated he had faced a "lot of s*it" because of the meeting between Daniel Smith and Donald Trump.

"I would negotiate the deal with Canada. I would do that deal. I would do that deal because I believe in a giant economic union, a behemoth economy, and I've taken a lot of sh*it for this in Canada because I took Daniel Smith down to meet Trump, which is what I believe is why she only got a 10% tariff, not 25, because she had the guts to go and meet with him," he said.

Further, Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary talked about the future of the Chinese economy. For that, he said to create a "behemoth economy" with power. He mentioned Canada with all its natural resources, and the U.S. with its "giant mega" economy, would create that power.

"What I think the future against the Chinese economy is to create a behemoth economy with the power that Canada has in all the natural resources and the giant large mega US economy," said the Shark Tank mentor.

Suggesting more of the potential steps towards building such an economy, Kevin O'Leary talked about creating a uni passport and a common currency. He also mentioned "no tariffs."
