Lindsay Lohan and Shailene Woodley are going to star together in a new Hulu series, Count My Lies. Lohan and Woodley have been cast as leads in the upcoming limited series, which has been greenlit by Hulu and is based on Sophie Stava's novel of the same name.

Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, who are known for being the co-showrunners with Dan Fogelman behind This Is Us, are the showrunners for Count My Lies.

About Hulu's Count My Lies

Count My Lies, according to Variety, has the following logline:

“When compulsive liar Sloane Caraway (Woodley) fibs her way into a nanny position for the gorgeous and charismatic Violet (Lohan) and Jay Lockhart, it seems she’s finally landed her dream job. But little does Sloane know, she’s just entered a household brimming with secrets that are about to explode — with potentially catastrophic consequences for all.”

While Shailene Woodley has played the lead in quite a few intense dramas, this is Lindsay Lohan's first lead role in a television series. Lohan is known for her performances in the comedy and romance genres; hence, it'll be interesting to see what she brings to a drama in which the characters are hiding secrets and probably much more.

Till now, the only casting for Count My Lies that has been revealed includes Lindsay Lohan as Violet Lokhart and Shailene Woodley as Sloane Caraway. Other cast members would hopefully be revealed soon.

Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger are executive producers along with Scott Morgan through their production company, The Walk-Up Company. 20th Television is the studio behind Count My Lies, and Sophie Stava serves as the producer. Lindsay Lohan and Shailene Woodley are also executive producers on the show.
