About Quarterback Season 2

In the recently released Quarterback Season 2 trailer, Burrow says

“You only have so many of these seasons. You start out your career and you [say], ‘OK, I’m going to be playing for 15-20 years, It seems like a lot, and then you blink your eye and you’re in year 5. Next time I blink my eye, it’s going to be year 10. Now we’re wrapped. The great ones make it work.”

Detroit Lions’ Goff, who was a former quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams, can be seen in the trailer, saying,

“I feel so lucky to be the quarterback. Our expectations internally are to win a Super Bowl.”

He further adds,

“A lot of people in my former organization may have thought I was being cast away, but I saw an opportunity I had here was special.”

Besides all things related to their professional lives, this season will also explore Burrow’s presence in the fashion world and how he is famous even outside the NFL. His house break-in that happened last year will also be shown in this season.

Tom Brady also makes an appearance in the trailer as an analyst and mentions that he would have loved to become the Lions’ offense's quarterback. However, Goff responds to him bluntly, saying,

“Yeah, too bad, Tom. You’re retired.”

Quarterback Season 2 will also feature Cousins, who happened to be a breakout star as shown in the first season. He is currently leading the Atlanta Falcons, where he has signed a $180M contract for four years.

The trailer generated significant buzz on YouTube as fans presented their different opinions about the chosen players and their arcs. One user, @ShelleyBecker-n4p, commented,

“Brock Purdy has the ideal plot line, and I wish they had chosen him for this season!”

Another one, @GalinDray, clearly a fan of Burrow, said,

“Im so happy Joe Burrow plays for my team. He's such a baller.”

@Ascared had more of a reflective and critical comment, as he said,

“I wish they picked Bryce Young for this season. It would’ve been great seeing him play terrible, get benched then come back and play like a completely different player.”

Quarterback can be streamed on Netflix.
