The Buccaneers will return for a second season on 18th June, 2025. Apple TV has just released the trailer for the second season, and to say fans are excited would be an understatement. From the trailer's contents to its soundtrack, the fans love it all.
Fans of the show have evidently been waiting for season two, the historical British drama based on the incomplete novel, The Buccaneers, by Edith Wharton, which was published after her death. The series depicts the challenges faced by five wealthy, ambitious American women as they try to fit into the London high society of the 1870s.

The Buccaneers, Annabel and Virginia St. George, Conchita Closson, Lizzy, and Mabel Elmsworth are returning for a second season. The YouTube description of the second season's trailer sets the stage. The description reads,
"In the first season of The Buccaneers, a group of fun-loving young American girls exploded into the tightly corseted London of the 1870s … setting hearts racing and kicking off an Anglo-American culture clash. Now the Buccaneers are no longer the invaders — England is their home. In fact, they’re practically running the place. Nan is the Duchess of Tintagel, the most influential woman in the country. Fans' excitement over the show's return was evident in the trailer's comment section on YouTube. One fan, @maramescal, commented,

To be honest, we cannot deny how beautiful Lizzy, played by Aubri Ibrag and everyone else, looks in the trailer.
A fan complimented the song choice for the trailer, which is Good Luck Babe by Chappell Roan. The comment by @juanitadiaz9999 reads,

The above comment wasn't the only one complimenting the song choice. Another fan complimented it as well and even went on to explain the significance.

The trailer features two kisses between queer women. Chappll Roan's song, Good Luck Babe, which is about queer love, is a fitting choice for a season that will explore queer relationships at a time it wasn't well-accepted.
The Buccaneers' season two trailer also reveals Leighton Meester joining the show. In the trailer, we see a clip where Meester's character asks Patti (Patricia St. George) in front of Annabel,
"Patti. Are you going to introduce us?"
Fans are ecstatic over Leighton Meester joining The Buccaneers. One fan named @mrudulawasnikcovers commented,
