Maya Rudolph as Molly Wells

Molly is portrayed as a charismatic billionaire lady who has lived her life spending time in all the luxury places, yachts owned by her husband, and expensive resorts. However, she becomes a tabloid sensation when she is publicly divorced by her husband.

To fix her image, she tries to reinvent herself and focus on the charity foundation she had forgotten that she owns. She gets involved in philanthropic deeds, meeting people, and connecting with society. The show traces her journey of self-awareness and humility as she sways between cluelessness and the will to come outside of her privilege.

Rudolph is an award-winning actress, and you must have seen her in Saturday Night Live, along with the popular show The Good Place.

Michaela Jaé Rodriguez as Sofia Salinas

In Loot, Sofia is the executive director of the Wells Foundation, and her character embodies all he traits and experiences Molly lacks. She is a disciplined woman and a no-nonsense kind, while also uptight with her ethics, and appreciates hard work. Molly shares a string of dynamics with her, and that is also central to the show.

Sofia is the one who pushes Molly to be better, and it is Molly who often softens Sofia's edges whenever required. Wondering where you have seen Michaela? She shared credits in Pose as Blanca Evangelista and was also nominated for an Emmy for the role.

Joel Kim Booster as Nicholas

Nicholas is Molly's over-the-top assistant who fixes her schedule and mediates her emotional breakdowns in Loot. He also sometimes acts like her PR coach, but deep down, he wants to be an actor, though he works full-time with Molly currently. His character indeed ensures extra laughs for the viewers.

Nat Faxon as Arthur

The primary cast majorly consists of the employees in the Well Foundation, the ones who surround Molly, the show's protagonist. One of them is Arthur, the gentle and thoughtful accountant at the foundation. He is also divorced and is portrayed to be soft-spoken and someone who poses some contrast to Molly's reaction to something. Their chemistry is funny and sweet as Arthur makes sure he plants more chaos around Molly and throws the truth to her face about what normal people look like.

Nat Faxon is seen earlier on The Descendants (2011) and also won an Oscar as the co-writer.
