Loot Season 3 release date announced by Apple TV+

Apple TV+ has officially announced the release date of Loot Season 3, and it will be out on October 15, 2025. The 10-episode third season will roll out worldwide with the first two episodes ready on that day, followed by a new episode every Wednesday until December 10, as per Apple TV+.

Loot, a comedy series with Maya Rudolph playing Molly Novak, who deals with life following an $87 billion divorce payout, will keep telling its story with Season 3 coming out this fall. The first two seasons are available now on Apple TV+ with viewers binge-watching ahead of the next installment.

Loot Season 3 release details

Apple TV+ has announced October 15, 2025, as the release date for Loot Season 3. The platform will unveil the first two episodes at once, allowing fans to jump straight into the latest installment of Molly Novak's story. Further episodes will then air weekly every Wednesday through December 10.

There are a total of 10 episodes in this season, following the pattern of previous seasons. The news arrived after some expectation since Loot's Season 3 release was delayed in part because of Maya Rudolph's involvement in Saturday Night Live during the 2024 election cycle.

After the holdup was removed, Apple renewed and booked Season 3 for fall 2025. The creators of the show, Matt Hubbard and Alan Yang, and executive producers such as Maya Rudolph, will continue to guide the series into this new season.

The season concluded with Molly and Nicholas departing on her private plane, having escaped the tensions created by her attempts to redefine her job as a billionaire philanthropist, setting the stage for events to unfold in Season 3.

Plot and cast for Season 3

Season 3 of Loot will likely trace Molly Wells, portrayed by Emmy Award-winner Maya Rudolph, who, having just gone through an expensive divorce, now directs her charity organization, the Wells Foundation, to donate her enormous wealth in purposeful ways.

The action continues from the Season 2 finale, in which Molly and her aide Nicholas leave on her airplane in an attempt to avoid criticism from her fellow billionaires about her charitable work. Season 3 features an all-star returning cast, including Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Nat Faxon, Ron Funches, and Joel Kim Booster.

The new season also has guest star appearances by Stephanie Styles, D'Arcy Carden, Adam Scott, Zane Phillips, Henry Winkler, and more.
