Love Begins in the World of If Episode 6 begins with Akihito keeping on trying to apply the things he learned from the other world to his world. Just as he had thought, things began to change for him. Though it is a slow process, people around him also begin to notice the subtle changes that come in Akihito, including Ogami.

Akihito also begins to understand his true feelings towards Ogami. However, things get complicated when he sees that Ogami is getting close to another female colleague as they are discussing having dinner together. Akihito’s jealousy makes him leave the room.

Seeing Akihito leave, Ogami follows him. Ogami tries to ask him about the situation, but Akihito does not answer him properly. After leaving the office, Akihito begins to contemplate the feelings he has for Ogami. Right then, Ogami arrives. He tells Akihito that he was worried about him.

Akihito gets worried about Ogami’s presence; however, Ogami’s words completely change the situation. Ogami reveals that he gets worried about Akihito and expresses his love for him. He also tells Akihito that he wants him to accept his feelings. Akihito also reveals his feelings towards Ogami.

This episode of Love Begins in the World of If ends in a heartwarming manner, with Ogami and Akihito spending quality time together. The ending of Love Begins in the World of If perfectly brought life to the message that it wanted to deliver about finding happiness through growth.

Both Akihito and Ogami navigate through changes in their lives, especially Akihito after returning from the ideal world. Akihito’s closed-off nature finally opens up to Ogami’s feelings, and Ogami’s observant nature is also brought to light in a nuanced manner at the end of the series.

This series is truly a heartwarming story with many significant messages that the characters are able to deliver through the episodes. Akihito’s transformation, along with Ogami’s, becomes an indication of the developments life can bring forward through subtle growth.

The cast members of this series truly do a commendable job in bringing out the struggles of the characters in a realistic manner, especially Daigo Kotaro’s performance as Akihito. The manner in which Daigo Kotaro depicts the difficulties as Akihito tries to manage all the workload all by himself resonates with a distinct level of realism.

Nakagawa Daisuke’s performance as Ogami Seiji, by bringing forth Ogami’s difficulties in depicting his true emotions towards Akihito in the early episodes, is also worth appreciating. Other cast members of the series include Yoshimura Sojiro, Hayama Yuki, Tosa Kazunari, etc.
