Love Between Lines is the new C-drama that fans are talking about all over the internet, especially on social media platforms. The story is adapted from a novel and follows two people who are passionate about architecture.

Love Between Lines episodes 7 and 8 will be released today, Sunday, January 11, 2026 on Viki and iQIYI around 6:30 am ET, which is also 8:30 pm KST. The live broadcast on Dragon TV is set for 7:30 pm CST, but local viewers will not get episodes 7-8 today, but episodes 3-4.

This is because of the difference in the release schedule of Love Between Lines on Dragon TV, which is the local TV channel and iQIYI, which is the streaming platform. However, every fan will get to enjoy the finale on the same day, whether they're watching locally or through streaming.

Additionally, iQIYI and Viki both offer a few episodes for free, followed by paid subscription plans. Viki is the best option for everyone outside China as you can enjoy all acclaimed Asian TV series on this platform with subtitles.

What happened in Love Between Lines episode 5-6: A quick recap

Episode 5 focuses on Hu Xiu applying for a job at Dynamism, which happens to be a good design studio. Since Hu Xiu has always been passionate about architecture, she wishes to get the job as soon as possible.

But before the day comes, her parents show up at her house and find Xiao Zhi Yu with her. Hu Xiu hasn't told them that she has given part of her house to him on rent, and mentions that he's just a colleague.

They had dinner and Hu Xu forced Xiao Zhi Yu out to pretend that her colleague was leaving. The next day, she arrives at Dynamism and finds out that Xiao Zhi Yu is the founder and also one of the interviewers.

She's surprised and gets a little nervous. Despite three years of lag, Xiao Zhi Yu decides to hire Hu Xiu because of her strong fundamentals. This way, he doesn't just become neighbors but also real colleagues.

At the team dinner, Hu Xiu passes out and Xiao Zhi Yu takes her home so that no one else finds out that they live in the same house. Episode 6 follows them working on a new project as their dynamics also improve.

By the end of episode 6, Zhi Yu takes Hu Xiu to a wedding that's important for them to attend. He introduces Hu Xiu as the assistant designer at Dynamism to the bride's father and later meets the couple.

When Hu Xiu sees the groom, she gets nervous. Turns out it was her ex-fiancé who broke up the engagement on the day. He was rude to Hu Xiu and didn't show up on the day of the event, which led to her heartbreak.

What to expect from Love Between Lines episodes 7-8?

Episodes 7 and 8 of Love Between Lines will continue the story from where the last chapter ended. Hu Xiu was left hurt and Zh Yu might offer her support. He knows that Hu Xiu's engagement broke, and he has seen her feeling hurt.
