Netflix dropped the first four episodes of Love is Blind: Germany on January 3, 2025, and it has already taken viewers by surprise. After their first dates, the 30 individuals looking for love within the pods seem to be making not one but multiple connections.

Love is Blind: Germany is a spin-off of the franchise for the singles living in the country, desperately looking for their one true love. With their physical appearances unknown, these participants go on dates with multiple people to exchange conversations, secrets, and future plans, hoping to build one strong connection enough to last forever.

For some, it takes a couple of dates, like Daniel and Hanni, who got engaged in episode 1, while for others, dating multiple people at a time can be a chaotic mess.

What happened on Love is Blind: Germany Episode 2?

After Love is Blind: Germany stars Daniel and Hanni's engagement, it is time for the big reveal. Episode 2 begins with the newly engaged, excited, and nervous couple to see each other for the first time. As the curtains go down, the two pace toward each other and share a comforting hug and a few passionate kisses right before Daniel puts a ring on her.

"I'm just so happy because I've already fallen in love with her personality...but then for the external to also be so great. And...wow, she's also a great kisser," says Daniel.

Tolga and his connection

Hannah and Tolga seem to be enjoying each other's company as they realize they have a lot in common. During their date, the two talk about kids and what they want their future to look like. The two also share a common love of amusement parks and escape rooms.

However, Tolga also hits it off with Shila, a real estate agent. The two share jokes about their future together. The two further discuss Shila's past relationship and how that changed her.

One episode, two engagements

After bonding with each other during their first few dates, Ilias decided to open up about his past mistakes with Alina. While sharing a deep connection after Alina does a card reading for Ilias, he opens up about how he cheated in a relationship when he was 19.

Though Alina ends the date to process everything, on their next date, Alina shares how she would like to give him a chance. Ilias expresses his feelings for her and ends up getting engaged to her.

Another connection between Marcel and Jen is brewing in the pods. The two accept that they have a great foundation and are even comfortable with each other in silence. The two open up about the need to be fully accepted by their partner and how small gestures matter.

On the next date, the duo from Love is Blind: Germany shares their feelings with each other, and Marcel asks her to marry him, to which she says a big yes!

Shella and her connections

Shella, a 29-year-old, builds connections with not two but three men from the pods. She shares a connection with Pascal as they talk about having kids together. However, when he says he would want to wait to propose to her and talk more, Shella finds it less reassuring.

She also connects with Fabio as the two talk about vulnerability and being able to express their emotions. They both feel secure with each other. However, their connection threatens Alberta, who also likes Fabio.
