Love Is Blind: France Episode 6: What happened when Kim met Clément for the first time at the Engagement Party?

Love Is Blind: France Episode 6 featured an engagement party for the engaged couples. With them, some of the singles from the pods also arrived. One of the singles to join the party was Clément.

Fans must remember that he and Kim shared a strong connection during the blind dates phase. However, later, she chose Thomas as her fiancé and moved forward in the social experiment.

In her private confession, Kim shared she was eager to see "other contestants." She was referring to the singles who didn't get engaged, but were going to join them during the Engagement Party.

"At this engagement party, well, I mostly wanna see the other contestants. Like, Clément, who I talked to a lot during our time in the pods. And I'm curious too. I can't say I haven't thought about Clément."

Love Is Blind: France Episode 6: Kim saw Clément for the first time at the engagement party

The sixth episode of the social experiment featured engaged couples who were going to get their drinks from the bar. A few of the singles joined the party. This included Clément, Julien, David, Ludivine, and more.

Kim asked which one of them Clément was because they were seeing each other for the first time. Before that, the two had been talking to each other during the blind dates phase. However, she chose to move forward with Thomas.

Seeing her for the first time, Love Is Blind: France star Clément noted he had to close his eyes to try to put her voice back. Later in her private confession, Kim admitted:

"He's pretty, the way I like. Uh, very neat, very clean cut. He works in finance. Anyway, on paper, he was the person who checked all the things I was looking for in a man. It was weird to hear his voice. It brings back memories, good conversations."

Love Is Blind: France stars Kim and Clément then had a private chat, away from fellow participants. She noted that "on paper," he was the one who was "meant" for her. However, because her final decision was "irrational" but from the heart:

"I emotionally connected with Thomas."

Clément said that it was good that she connected with Thomas.

"We're here to follow our hearts. And really, now I'm super curious to know how it's going, you know?" asked Clément.

Kim responded that everyone was "good." She added that she and Thomas came from two "different" backgrounds. Hence, it was not easy to live every day together with the person who was your "opposite."

Listening to Kim talking about the differences, Clément asked her if she was ready to get married to Thomas. Love Is Blind: France star answered that she didn't have doubts, but she needed "more time."

"Because if we take that step, it's for life. I won't accept failure. I won't accept a divorce. I can't do that. My family would be extremely disappointed, and I can't disappoint them. That's...For me, that's inconceivable."

Love Is Blind: France star Clément admitted that he understood. It was because he shared the same mindset as Kim when it came to getting married.

Further, during their conversation, Kim recalled how she had been looking for an intellectual connection during the blind dates phase. On the other hand, Clément talked about cerebral connection.

Clément noted that it was interesting to be able to talk to Kim face-to-face, finally. Kim said that they should get back to the rest of the contestants, as they had been chatting for a while.
