As fans already know, participants talk to various cast members during their blind dates. After a series of dates, they develop connections with a few of them. They have to choose certain participants with whom they want to develop their connection further.

After opening up to their choice of participants, without seeing them, they agree to get engaged. One of the dates featured a female cast member revealing:

"I've never felt so at home with a man before."

Love Is Blind: Germany trailer further showed multiple proposals during the first phase of the social experiment. While some of the male participants asked the most crucial question, female contestants responded to their proposals.

After that, engaged participants move to the next phase, where they explore their physical chemistry. However, one of the Love Is Blind: Germany cast members confessed:

"It's this toxic back-and-forth that I want no part of."
