Love Is Blind UK Season 2 Episode 1 Recap: Singles start blind dating, where one potential couple hits an instant connection

Netflix premiered Love Is Blind UK Season 2 on August 13, 2025. With a batch of new singles looking for their romantic connection, the show introduced new cast members.

Show hosts Emma and Matt Willis welcomed and sent them on their blind dates. Many of the singles found an instant connection with more than one fellow single.

On the other hand, a few found it difficult to find their right connection. Those who connected more deeply on their dates shared about their families, jobs, and more.

The first episode of Love Is Blind UK Season 2, titled, Eat, Sleep, Date, Repeat, started with show hosts Matt and Emma Willis. They welcomed everyone, and then singles were sent to their blind dates.

The first blind date was between Ashleigh, a cabin crew manager, and Charlie, an electrical engineer. Her second date was with Chris, 33, a data analyst.

"I feel like I'm quite lucky on life, but I've been very unlucky in love," she confessed.

Ashleigh's next date was with Billy. When he mentioned being in the Army, she shared that she was in the Army cadets. Her nickname was Combat Barbie. They talked about the Army, their jobs, and their families.

A senior commercial manager, Sophie's first date was with Javen, a health coach. Her next blind dates were with Charlie, Patrick, Jordan,

"I'm very aware that I'm single because of myself. I'm a very guarded person, 'cause I'm petrified of giving myself to somebody and not being enough," confessed Sophie.

Sophie's next date on Love Is Blind UK Episode 1 was with Kieran. They shared about their jobs, families, past relationships, and kids.

Kieran's next date was with Megan, a dancer and fitness instructor. They talked about their past relationships and families. Patrick, 33, had his date with Yolanda, a specialist occupational therapist.

"I have this thing where I follow my spleen," shared Patrick.

His next dates were with Christine, 35, and Aanu, a singer. She found him sweet and deep. The two had various conversations about praying, what they wanted in life, and more. The next single was Sarover, a medical company owner. Her first date was with Charlie. Her next dates were with Chris, Ross M, and Kal.

Love Is Blind UK star Kal mentioned his siblings were married with kids, and it didn't make him "rush," but:

"Seeing how happy it makes them, I want that for myself."

Sarover responded that that was the boat she was in.

The next day, Ashleigh and Billy had another date. He opened up about his tattoos. Kieran confessed to the cameras about his connections with Sophie and Megan. His next date was with Megan, which he mentioned went "amazing." After his date with Sophie, she confessed to being scared of being heartbroken.

Sarover and Kal had another date. He opened up about his brothers and their lives. She felt he was "super sweet" and an emotional person. Further, in Love Is Blind UK Season 2 Episode 1, Billy and Ashleigh had another date.

"I have developed a deep connection, something I've not experienced before in my life," she confessed.

While opening up about his family and his date, Billy got emotional. Aanu and Patrick had another date where they connected even more deeply. He found her "super open-minded" and "super spiritual."

Kal and Sarover had another date where they talked about their childhood, holidays, and more. She got emotional while recalling Christmas and her parents' divorce.

Despite liking Ashleigh, Billy had some reservations about her being on the cabin crew. He confessed to the cameras that it might impact his decision. On their date, Billy opened up about how he felt. But before he could share more, the first episode ended.
