Love Island USA Season 7 star Belle-A opens up about how supporting Huda and Jeremiah has been to her
During her time in the Love Island USA villa, Belle-A became one of the fan favorite Islanders on the show. Even after she was dumped by Nic when he chose Cierra as his partner, she remained quite the popular cast member among fans.
After Belle-A's elimination from the villa, fans have also demanded to bring her back. In her recent exclusive interview with People magazine, the female cast member reflected on her journey. Recalling Huda and Jeremiah, she referred to the couple as her "parents" in the villa.
The 22-year-old former Islander stated that reading online comments about Huda and Jeremiah "breaks" her heart. She mentioned how the duo "kind of became" like her parents on the show.
"Huda and Jeremiah became kind of my parents in the villa and they definitely helped guide me," she said.
Belle-A was talking about how they had supported her since her arrival in the villa.
Fans must know that all three, Belle-A, Huda, and Jeremiah, were among the original Islanders on the show's season 7. During her interview, Belle-A also discussed how Huda and Jeremiah have been connected, and are still paired on the show.
Sharing more about how Love Island USA star Huda and Jeremiah helped her, Belle-A said:
"Huda was there to wipe my tears, and Jeremiah was there to be my wingman in so many different cases. And all of that seemed so genuine and authentic to me."
She revealed that seeing Huda and Jeremiah supporting her was "genuine" and "authentic" to her.
Fans might recall that Belle-A was coupled up with Nic on the show's debut episode. However, with the new bombshell's arrival on the show, Nic later chose to be partnered with Cierra. Initially, Nic was torn between the two, but he went with Cierra during the first recoupling ceremony.
When he chose Cierra to be his partner, it shocked the fans and Belle-A. Everyone was hoping he would choose Belle-A, being one of the initially-paired couples on the show. However, Nic felt that his connection with Cierra was stronger, and he wanted to explore that.
On Huda and Jeremiah, Belle-A stated that after her elimination from the show, she came across various comments about the couple. When she learned about how they were getting criticized by some fans, she didn't like what she was "hearing."
"I do also know that it's still early in the process. And if one of their heads were turned, it wouldn't be a crazy thing," said Belle-A.
Furthermore, the Love Island USA star discussed seeing the couple together on the show and her bond with Huda.
