The newest K-drama, Love Me, dives into the story of Seo Jun-kyung, a successful OB-GYN, and her journey of finding happiness. On the surface, Jun-kyung seems to have it all; however, under all that, she wishes to find happiness.

Her life takes a turn after she comes across someone who begins to bring a level of comfort and peace that she wished to have. The aspect of diving into the struggles that are often hidden by people resonates deeply in Love Me. The cast member of the series is definitely bringing forth a distinct level of intrigue.

1) Seo Hyun-jin as Seo Jun-kyung

From the beginning of Love Me, it can be understood that Seo Hyun-jin’s Seo Jun-kyung is a woman with the ability to make a presence. Her success in her career helps her lead her life in the way she wants it to. However, Jun-kyung also wishes to be with someone in her life.

At the beginning of the first episode, Jun-kyung is on a blind date. However, the exact moment her date begins to disrespect her, she retaliates. She does not cower down, but rather, she takes charge. Seo Hyun-jin’s performance is truly worth appreciating. She completely captures the attention of the viewers from the get-go. Some of her other notable projects are Dr. Romantic, Temperature of Love, etc.


2) Jang Hye Jin as Kim Mi-ran

Jang Hye Jin’s performance as Kim Mi-ran in the series adds a layer of realism through the struggles she goes through. Due to Mi-ran’s health, she has to rely on Jin-ho. She even blames herself when Jin-ho is not able to attend a dinner. However, Jin-ho wants to spend more time with her. Mi-ran's health makes her unable to move the way others do.

This causes her to slowly separate herself from others. There is a distinct emotional depth with which Jang Hye Jin depicts her character in the series. It shows the versatility she has. With projects such as Parasite, The Red Sleeve, More Than Family, etc., her performance left the viewers completely awestruck.


3) Chang Ryul as Joo Do-hyun

Chang Ryul’s Joo Do-hyun is Jun-kyung’s neighbor. He is quite free-spirited, which is quite different than Jun-kyung. In episode 2, when Jun-kyun gets drunk, Do-hyun helps her to go to the hospital, where Jun-seo is admitted.

Lee Si-woo’s Seo Jun-seo definitely adds a level of humor to the plot. From the beginning of the series, it can be seen that Jun-seo’s life is quite complicated. Through the moments that feature Jun-seo in the episodes, he brings forth positivity.

Jun-seo's relationship with his girlfriend is a crucial aspect of the storyline. In the first episode, Jun-seo also calls Jun-kyung. He tells her that she needs to call their father, as it was his last day at work. Lee Si-woo’s other notable projects are Love Your Enemy, See You in My 19th Life, Pale Moon, Perfect Family, etc.


5) Yoo Jae-myung as Seo Jin-ho

Yoo Jae-myung takes on the complex role of Seo Jin-ho in the series. In the first episode, Jin-ho resigns from his office at a time when he is almost close to retirement. He worked at the Handong Administrative Welfare Center. From the beginning, Jin-ho’s presence creates a level of melancholy in the series.

It can be understood that his storyline will definitely create quite an impact in the series. Yoo Jae-myung comes with the ability to bring life to every character he takes on. This can be seen with the projects he takes. His distinct acting prowess truly is worth appreciating.
