Love Me Episodes 3-4 recap: Do-hyun’s shocking confession leads to chaos

Love Me is truly bringing forth a complex storyline resonating with realism from the very beginning. In Episodes 3 and 4, things get further intricate for the characters, especially for Jun-kyung.

After the events of episode 2, Jun-kyung and Do-hyun’s relationship begins to take a turn. On the other hand, Jin-ho decides to go on the trip all by himself. Jun-seo’s relationship with Sol takes a turn after he sees her with another man.

Do-hyun’s shocking confession leads to chaos in Love Me Episode 3-4

Love Me Episode 3 starts with Jun-kyung waking up at Do-hyun’s place. It is then revealed that the two of them spent the whole night enjoying each other’s company and getting to know each other. The next day, back at her office, Jun-kyung’s friend is eager to know about the development in her relationship with Do-hyun.

She reveals to her that they are taking things slow. Jin-ho goes on the trip by himself and feels extremely melancholy without his wife. The loss of his wife weighs down on him, making him further disheartened about the situation. Though in the second episode, Jun-seo and Sol’s relationship was on the verge of ending, things get better in this episode for the two of them as they decide to reconcile.

Sol asks Jun-seo to throw her a birthday party at his house with a few friends. Jun-seo is initially reluctant but decides to say yes in the end. As this episode progresses, Jun-kyung and Do-hyun’s relationship develops in a positive direction. Seeing Jin-ho’s state, Ja-young decides to give him company. They even have dinner together. Jun-seo’s situation takes a hilarious turn as Sol’s birthday party turns into an unexpected situation with a huge crowd joining the party, which he was not prepared for.

At the end of episode 3 of Love Me, Jun-kyung takes Do-hyun to her friend’s house for dinner. Her friends are completely smitten by Do-hyun’s nature. Jun-kyung also tells her friend that she truly likes Do-hyun quite a lot. After returning home, Jun-kyung and Do-hyun begin having a conversation. Jun-kyung reveals to Do-hyun about her mother’s death, along with the distant relationship she had with her. Do-hyun then reveals that he has a son.

Episode 4 of Love Me begins with Jun-kyung completely baffled by the truth that Do-hyun has a son. She begins to get angry. She tells him to end the relationship. Do-hyun tells Jun-kyung that, as he was scared, he was not able to tell the truth. Jun-seo goes to Hye-on’s house to ask for help with writing his paper. As the episode of Love Me progresses, both Jun-kyung and Do-hyun begin to have difficulty staying away from each other.

Jun-kyung goes to her friend’s house, where her friend’s husband tells her to at least hear Do-hyun’s explanation. Right then, she gets a call from the columbarium. They inform her that they have made a mistake, which now requires Jun-kyung’s mother’s urn to be moved. Back at their house, Jun-seo and Jun-kyung discuss the difficulties their mother went through.

On the other hand, Jin-ho’s thoughts about his wife make him lock himself inside his room. Ja-young arrives to check up on him, but she does not get any response. This makes her worry, causing her to open the door. She notices the state Jin-ho is in. Hearing Jin-ho’s words about his life, Ja-young also opens up about her past.

As episode 4 of Love Me progresses, Jun-seo, Jun-kyung, and Jin-ho decide to bury the urn under a tree. They want to keep the memory of Jun-kyung’s mother alive. Jun-kyung begins to think about Do-hyun. The time they spent together fills her mind. She decides to call him to ask him about his excuse for not telling the truth. Do-hyun runs to meet her.

He then tells her the whole truth about his past relationship and the child he had with her. Jun-kyung then tells her that she has forgiven her. This episode ends with Jin-ho and Ja-young spending time together. Jin-ho’s feelings have grown towards Ja-young. It can be understood that their relationship is going to take a turn as the series progresses.
