90 Day Fiancé Season 11 concluded with the second part of Tell All airing on June 29, 2025. After the reunion, cast members have been sharing their relationship updates via various interviews.
One such exclusive interview with Swoon featured Shekinah and Sarper from 90 Day Fiancé. Published on July 3, 2025, the interview featured the couple sharing how they have been planning to get a place together.
However, each of them had different things in mind when it came to living together and getting their own place. While Shekinah said she wanted a "bigger" place:
"Our place is very small. I want a bigger place together, (one) that we find and make a home together."
Sarper stated:
"Let's be clear. Everyone knows that she wants to live in Miami. I’m not so close to that idea because of the weather. So humid."
90 Day Fiancé Season 11: Shekinah and Sarper share their thoughts about moving to a "bigger" place together
Recently concluded 90 Day Fiancé Season 11 featured Shekinah and Sarper among other couples. Since the show ended, the two have been living together. After getting married, the two have been planning to get a different place to start their married life.
During the couple's latest interview with Swoon, Shekinah and Sarper opened up about how they have been thinking about their new place. The duo said they have been "working" on it because their current place is "very small." Shekinah said she was looking to get a "bigger" place and make it a "home" together.
However, her husband, Sarper, jumped and said that she had been interested in moving to Miami. But, he was not "so close" to that idea. The reason was the weather. 90 Day Fiancé Season 11 star Sarper said the weather there was so "humid."
Further in their interview, the couple talked about their next goal, which was to go to therapy together.
"We've had a few sessions. We need more, for sure, but at least we started, you know. That was the biggest thing with Sarper, being resistant to it and finally agreeing to it," she said.
They also shared their struggles while finding a therapist for themselves. For that, Sarper shared his thoughts and mentioned:
"More than therapy, I think people start to learn each other. That's the important thing in a relationship. We are still having arguments, but right now, we recover a lot more quickly and recover better from them."
90 Day Fiancé star added that his parents have been married for 45 years, and they go through fights "every day." However, he noted that they forget in ten minutes. Soon, after a fight, his parents would be talking about what they would have for dinner. So, he also wanted a similar relationship with Shekinah.
