Malice Episode 2 recap: Deception, guilt, wedding and manipulation

Episode 2 of Malice continues the dark tale of Adam as he puts into effect his scheme for revenge. The episode is in the form of a vacation in Greece, where Tanner and his family went on vacation, inviting their friends to join them. Adam is a tutor in this family, but he has some other interests in destroying the life of Jamie Tanner.

The episode portrays Adam creating trouble for Jamie in all possible ways. Firstly, food poisoning makes the family's nanny, Jodie, acutely ill, and she is taken to the hospital. Then, an attack by someone leaves Mr. Papadakis, a neighbor, injured. This incident brings the police to investigate.

In this episode, we also see what transpires after Adam and Jamie go out for a night on the town during their vacation. Throughout the episode, Adam continues with his plotting to destroy the life of Jamie.

Malice Episode 2 recap #1: The nanny gets sick

During the start of Malice episode 2, Jodie, who is the family nanny, suddenly fell ill. She gets so sick due to food poisoning that she has to get to the hospital. A helicopter is arranged to take her away from the island. According to the family, she consumed something bad, which made her ill. However, a viewer would be aware that it is likely that Adam has something to do with it. Jamie complains about the payments that he has to make to the hospital regarding Jodie.

The ailing nanny leaves the family without any help. This was all part of Adam's plan to cause chaos and problems for the Tanner family. Later, Jodie recovers from the illness. She later chooses to return to Australia rather than continue with the family.


Malice Episode 2 recap #2: Mr. Papadakis is attacked

In Malice episode 2, Mr. Papadakis, a neighbor, is beaten and severely injured in the town. He is struck on the back of his head with a brick by someone. He says he heard English speakers before the attack happened. The police come to investigate this crime. The police talk to Jamie and Adam about the attack. Jamie and Adam are found in town and reported by Dimitri, a local man. Jamie and Adam are instructed to report to the police department in the morning.

The police wonder if Jamie could have done the attack. However, the taxi driver says he picked them up at a specific time. Jamie and Adam create an alibi for themselves. They are questioned by the police, as they could not prove that they did anything wrong.


Malice Episode 2 recap #3: Is Adam manipulating Jamie’s guilt?

Adam and Jamie had gone out for a night on the town during their vacation. Jamie consumed more than enough alcohol and became quite drunk. Adam was more sober and observing what was going on. Suddenly, Adam went out and left Jamie on a bench alone so that he could go to the bathroom. When Adam returned, he saw Jamie was missing.

When they discuss the incident later, Jamie can't recall what occurred, but he has blood on his shirt. Adam informs him that he was only gone for three minutes. Jamie's mind goes into a frenzy when Adam suggests that they clean up the blood and move on, believing that he could have attacked Papadakis.

He starts to get worried and confused. Adam uses this very moment to make Jamie feel scared and guilty. Throughout Malice Episode 2, Adam has shown how smart he is with manipulation and getting people to blame themselves for things.


Malice Episode 2 recap #4: Wedding, inspection & Adam moving in with the family

In Malice, Iris is married, and there is a joyful family wedding. At the reception, everybody tells the secrets. Nat applauds Adam on the extent to which the children love him. Nat requests him to remain on as a full-time nanny rather than a tutor and he accepts.

Jamie and Adam are investigated by Inspector Dimopoulosas he believes that the attack on Dimitri Papadakis was carried out by them. Adam presents videos to their defense.

At the end of the episode, Adam officially became a part of the Tanner family.
