Wonder Man is an upcoming Marvel miniseries based on the Marvel character of the same name. It is set to be released in 2026 and will follow Simon Williams and Trevor Slattery, two struggling actors, as they audition for roles in the remake of the film Wonder Man, which is set in their universe.Marvel has released a funny teaser for the upcoming miniseries, which features Trevor Slattery, whom we last saw in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021). In the teaser, Slattery is launching his acting classes called The Slattery Method.About The Slattery Method and Wonder ManThe video begins with Trevor Slattery (played by Ben Kingsley) as he tells the viewers,"Acting isn't a job, it's a calling."The tone of the video makes it clear that it's a funny advertisement for something Slattery is selling or proposing.Slattery then says,"I'm Trevor Slattery and I'm not just the legendary actor, I'm also in the possession of tools that can turn you into the next Trevor Slattery. I'm thrilled to announce the launch of The Slattery Method."Trevor Slattery was first seen in Iron Man 3 (2013) as a struggling actor who was addicted to drugs and recruited by Aldrich Killian and AIM to serve as the public face of the fabricated terrorist known as the Mandarin. His carefully staged broadcasts helped mask the Extremis program’s deadly failures. Since he was living in luxury and mostly numbed by substances supplied by AIM, he was unaware of the deception he was a part of.When Tony Stark uncovered the truth, Slattery was taken into custody. Despite his arrest and the downfall of Killian’s scheme, he seemed amused by the sudden fame and attention that came with being exposed to the world, something he couldn't achieve in the field of acting. He later helped in fighting the Ten Rings and the Dweller-in-Darkness. But he isn't really the great actor he likes to think he is. Hence, it is even funnier that he is giving acting classes and will try to earn the role of Wonder Man. Slattery says,"Let's start by taking control of our breathing and counting to four thousand."We then see a short clip of him acting or auditioning for a role, as Slattery says,"I'll make you think I'm a werewolf or a congressman or a tickle-me Elma. For more information, follow the instructions on the screen."The said information on the screen is the way in which interested candidates can apply to join the acting classes. We then see the following information on the screen:CALL OR TEXT "ACT" to 805-8-TREVORThe video description clears up confusion as to how a number can have a person's name and mentions the actual number to be,(805-887-3867)We will most likely see Slattery giving acting classes in the upcoming miniseries; hence, this announcement video.
