Marvel's satirical take on the superhero industry, Wonder Man, has a special cameo connection to Spider-Man: No Way Home
Wonder Man is an upcoming Marvel series on Disney set to make its way to the audience in 2026. The show is a satirical take on the superhero movies in the entertainment industry, a meta-commentary in a way that finds Marvel poking fun at itself. This is an entirely new genre for Marvel, and apart from the interesting concept of the show, fans have also been curious to find out how the show will connect to the Marvel multiverse in general.
While Marvel is yet to reveal any such major connections and cameos to the multiverse, one would assume that Wonder Man is a standalone take on the superhero fatigue currently taking over the superhero entertainment industry. However, recent reports from The Direct suggest that the Winter 2025 issue of Disney's D23 Magazine revealed a special cameo.
The confirmed cameo is Agent P. Cleary, played by actor Arian Moayed. Agent P. Cleary has previously appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Ms. Marvel as a member of the Department of Damage Control. He was initially stationed on the East Coast, but has been reassigned to the West Coast and has an official mission as a member of the Department of Damage Control.
"He has been reassigned to Los Angeles. There's fun in the way he interacts with Trevor and Simon, but he also has a job to do as a member of the DODC."
Per the official confirmation, Agent Cleary will have some fun interactions with the characters in Wonder Man, while something is also bound to happen that has the Department of Damage Control interested enough to relocate an agent for investigation.

Only time will tell what action in Wonder Man has the Department of Damage Control interested, but we'll have to wait until the series' release to find out. There has been no official release date announced for the Marvel series as of now, but it is set to release on Disney+ early next year.
