Matlock Season 2 Episode 2: Release date and streaming details

Episode 2 of Matlock Season 2 is set to air on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 9:00 PM ET on CBS following the show's regular Thursday schedule. The new episode titled Another Matlock will be available to stream live on Paramount+ Showtime ($11.99/month) subscribers. For those with the Essential plan ($5.99/month), the episode will drop the next day, Friday, October 17.

The ongoing cast remains led by Kathy Bates as Madeline "Matty" Matlock, with Skype P. Marshall reprising her role as Olympia Lawrence. Jasson Ritter returns as Julian, in addition to Beau Bridges, Leah Lewis, and Sam Anderson, reprising their roles as well. However, David Del Rio (Billy) was let go from the show amid controversy, marking a notable change as the series continues production.

Matlock Season 2 Episode 1: A quick recap

Expect Matty to be torn between professional duty and personal guilt while Olympia's loyalty to Julian begins to backfire.
