Matt and Karen to have a date night in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2? Set images reveal

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is currently in production, and there's a general curiosity about whom Karen Page might date in the next season. In season one's finale episode, we see Karen's heartbeat increase for The Punisher, aka Frank Castle. But her heartbeat also increased in the presence of Matt Murdock.

While the show has not confirmed anything, a picture from the show's set, shared by a Reddit user, suggests that Karen and Matt might go on a date night in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.

Will Karen and Matt have a date in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2?

In season one, fans dearly missed Foggy Nelson, who tragically passed away in the first episode. Fans also did not get to see much of Karen Page, played by Deborah Ann Woll.

While Karen did have quite the screen time in season one's finale episode, she was heavily missed throughout the season. Besides, Karen did not get to have her own storyline to explore, and hopefully, we will see more of her in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.

At the end of season one, we find out that Karen Page has feelings for Frank Castle. This was ecstatic news for fans who have always wished to see Karen and Frank date. The pair does have quite the on-screen chemistry, and their dating would make fans quite happy. However, that might not happen in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.

While we cannot confirm who Karen Page will date in season two, or if she will at all, a set image reveals that she might go on a date with Matt Murdock. Season one's finale revealed that Karen Page also had feelings for Matt, as her heartbeat got fast in his presence as well. A picture taken of the show's set, posted on Reddit, reveals that the pair might go on a date after all.

A Reddit user (@KevinPigaChu) posted a picture taken from the set of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, with the caption:

"Daredevil: Born Again season 2 was filming in 'this restaurant' earlier this week."

The post showed that the show is filming at Panna II Garden, an Indian restaurant in the East Village, New York City. The post also included another picture of a scene from Daredevil season 2 episode 5, Kinbaku. The scene was of Karen and Matt at the same Indian restaurant, on their first date.

The fact that the show is revisiting a date location suggests that there might be a date scene in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Since that specific restaurant was where Karen and Matt shared their first date, it would make sense for them to go back to the same place for another.

We cannot say for sure if this alleged date night will happen for sure, but it has a strong possibility, given what Charlie Cox said to TVLine at the Disney Upfronts in May 2025, about Deborah Ann Woll's presence in the next season.

When asked if season two will have more of Deborah Ann Woll, Cox confirmed:

"A lot more Deborah Ann Woll."

He continued:

"Thank God. some of the stuff she’s up to is some of the coolest stuff she’s ever had.”

He concluded by saying:

“She’s amazing in this season.”

As for what Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is about, Charlie Cox told TVLine:

"We are living in a very oppressive, claustrophobic New York. You’re frightened to be out, to be seen… you can’t voice your concerns, your desire for change…. It’s very French Resistance.”

Daredevil Born Again Season 2 is arriving on Disney+ in 2026. Till then, you can stream season one on Disney+.
