Set in a prestigious school, the show revolves around Ruby Bell, a brilliant student from a humble background, who gets mired in the dark secrets of her elite classmates. She initially clashes with a legacy student named James Beaufort, but the two later begin an intense relationship.

Like the first installment, Maxton Hall: The World Between Us Season 2 also features six episodes. The first three episodes, Devastated, Wish to the Universe, and Emotional Rollercoaster, were released at the same time on Friday, November 7, 2025.

The rest of the three episodes, Secrets, Deceptive Lightness, and Reaching for the Stars, will be dropped on the subsequent three Fridays. The finale is scheduled for November 28, 2025. All the episodes come out at 12 AM PT / 3 AM ET. The complete release schedule is given below:
