"Maybe the girl you were with": Love Island Games star Solene reveals who she would have picked if not Mert

Recently released Love Island Games Season 2 Episode 2 featured two newly arrived participants, Charlie and Solene. With an advantage, the two chose a partner of their choice.

Charlie partnered up with Andrea, while Solene chose to couple up with Mert. As a result, Lucinda and Josh were left single and at risk.

The second episode of the reality show featured both Charlie and Solene chatting with their respective partners. While talking to Solene, her new partner, Mert, asked her whom she would have chosen if not him.

Love Island Games star Solene pointed to a few of their fellow castmates and responded:

"I would pick the man with the jacket, brown. The tall with blue. Maybe the girl you were with."

Love Island Games Season 2: Solene talks to Mert about her potential choices of partners

Fans must be aware of the hilarious narration throughout the Love Island seasons. Similar to that, Love Island Games also features a witty narrator. After seeing Solene and Mert going for a chat, the narrator stated:

"A French woman and a Dutch man are speaking English in a Fijian villa on American TV while being narrated by a Scottish narrator who's currently eating Chinese."

Solene told Mert that when she arrived, she looked at him, and he avoided her. Fans must remember that she and Charlie were given a choice to "steal" any of the housemates and couple up with them.

Hence, when she saw Mert avoiding her, she thought:

"And I was like, what's wrong with me? I'm gonna pick him."

Listening to her, Mert laughed.

"Why you don't look at me? You have no choice now. Yeah, no choice," added Solene.

In her private confession, Solene noted that Mert's avoidance of her seemed interesting. That was the "good reason" to pick him, which would resolve the mystery.

During their conversation, Love Island Games star Mert asked Solene about her arrival in the villa. He wondered how she felt about choosing someone, which was referred to as "stealing" in the show.

"I'm here for the same reason almost as everyone, so I'm just like...Fun. In the game. I love to win. Who knows? Maybe I will find a boyfriend. Who knows?" said Solene.

When Mert asked her what type of partner she was looking for, Solene said, "dark." His next question was, whom she would have picked if he had not been there.

Solene pointed to a few of the cast members. She then pointed to Chris and also pointed to Mert's previous partner, Lucinda. She noted that she might have chosen her. Listening to Solene, Mert was surprised.

"My heart says that I miss a little bit Lucinda, but at the end of the day, this is Love Island Games. So, let's go on, I can say," confessed Mert.

Later in their conversation, Solene told him that she wanted to explore people.
